It happens to Ron Carlson of FACES of the Forgotten as well ...and he usually has a train in the area as well which is super fun for me as I love trains
You have been a blessing while im recovering from surgery! One of my fav bloggers plus... a new one daily. Love coming on adventures with you! Thanks adam!
I really enjoyed seeing Lake Lily Park. I used to spend a lot of time there 20 years ago when I still lived in central Florida. Lots of walks around the lake, listening to music, taking my kids there and a few art festivals.
Hello Adam, great video road trip within FL to Maitland..Interesting historic town, nice train going by, interesting turtles, homes, businesses and more..Enjoy on..
Wow are you bringing memories back. We saw ‘Some Like it Hot’ off broadway productions at Bob Carr in 1982? Maybe? Early 80’s. This is why I love your vlogs. I’ve forgotten so much and you bring it back. Thank u
We have a log cabin from the 1850s at an outdoor living museum near me. You can sit on the porch of it in a rocking chair. It's so peaceful. It has many old and large houses, barns, etc. It's in Largo just south of Clearwater.
You found all the turtles. Cute. There is a beautiful outdoor chapel and this area with Mayan looking carvings and paintings on all the walls in downtown Maitland at the Arts Center. That area you can just walk into and look around as long as they are not having an event. I go there occasionally when on the area cause it is just peaceful and pretty.
Adam the Woos Wild Kingdom haha I love it, will say you do seem to have a connection with animals, and oh my goodness that baby turtle swimming too cute, thanks for sharing 😊
This was very cool. Imagine how significant those roads are, but they are kinda lost today. I love those turtles! It's so much fun watching them. How relaxing. 😊
Well that was beautiful causal day with nice varity. The turtels the birds the clouds even fire trucks oh and not forgetting the leaf blower.Thank you Adam from Universal Jamie.
I heard that the Dixie highway that starts in Michigan goes all the way down to Florida. Cool finds 🐾 That swan shuttle is made by roush industries here in Michigan about a month ago I saw a bunch leaving we couldn't figure out what the heck they were that's the first time I've ever seen them outside of Michigan outside off of a trailer now I know what they're being used for and no they do not have a driver and they could be forward or backward they can go either way it's so weird!
LOVE the turtle colony you discovered!!! AWESOME!!! LOVE Adam the Woo's Wild Kingdom!!! Excellent video. You TOTALLY shine in these small town videos!!!
I love how enthusiastic you got about the turtles, the brown sugar in your coffee most likely is either turbinado sugar or coconut sugar. Interesting tour of a quaint little town, I’m glad it survived the road re routing, a lot of small town don’t. I hope Celebration doesn’t expand to the point of loosing its small town charm, that would be a real shame. Thanks for sharing.
I live just off dixie hwy in louisville ky. It's always fascinated me how long it is. One day when I am blessed enough to not have to work I dream of travelling it from top to bottom
After showing the Grass growing out of the Carpentry shop roof, , the roof of your head started to grow BLOND HAIR MIRACULOUSLY …..that was AMAZING, how did that happen? You were ENLIGHTENED! 🙏🏽❤️🌴
Sault Sts. Marie is pronounced Soo Saint Marie and is referred to, locally, as The Soo. The city is on the lake edge of Lake Superior and a great trip is go by boat through the Soo Locks. It’s fascinating to go from one water level to another. An interesting area to tour particularly in the summer.
I did my ballet recital at the Bob Carr. When it was the Orlando Municipal Auditorium. In the early 70s, I guess. Too funny. When they did all that remodeling to turn it into the Bob Carr it was a big deal. Time keeps clipping on.
Woo! I’ve noticed that you have a sweet adoration for creatures and critters in nature. It’s so gentle and I love it! When I go to our resort in Orlando there is a big lake in back and my daughter and I watch the turtles for hours. It’s so relaxing and just such sweet creatures to watch!! I’m glad I’m not alone there. It’s the simple things and I love Florida life! ❤
I think Adam and his family are all sweet people!! Videos with his Mom and Dad, even his sister ,who we don’t see that much of, they’re so sweet to each other!! Love this family!!! And I just don’t want think we can make it without them! I hate thinking of that time😢
The Dixie Highway runs through my hometown here in Michigan. If you get too hot down in Florida this summer, head on up here to the Great Lakes State and visit us! Check out the Soo Locks in Sault (pronounced "SOO") Ste. Marie, Mackinac Island (filming location of Christopher Reeve's Somewhere in Time. No cars!), Sleeping Bear Dunes (voted by Good Morning America as the "Most Beautiful Place in America!) and so much more. We also have a lot of small towns for you to explore.
At this point, LeafBlower Man has overtaken the role of most persistent from Newspaper Boy. "I WANT MY TWO DOLLARS!" Next time you go to Lake Lily, clean out your fridge's crisper drawer and take the leafy stuff to feed the turtles. They like lettuces, snap/snow peas, Brussels sprouts leaves, green onion tops, celery tops/leaves, and even blueberries and sliced strawberries. Good way to clear the fridge before ya take off for an adventure. ❤✌🌮
adam, dont go changin, im 52, went through a change of life if u will, a couple of years ago, as u maybe experiencing now, it is what it is, just a number, you can only get better, greetings again from australia, your positivity helps drive me, we need more of i this positivity vibe in the lost world of social media, you are a gem
I was just saying the other day, “I wish Adam would cover the Dixie Highway”…… And, bam! There it is! I used to worry my phone was always listening, now apparently Adam is listening!! 😂
I thought you might appreciate that Dixie Highway runs through Miami and on the way to Key West. I grew up in Miami and traveled on it throughout my life. I knew it went north; I just didn't know how far. If I remember right, I am 74. In Miami, it runs parallel to US1, at least in most parts of Miami!
Wow 17 -92 black bear trail , lake Lily 1900 centrey, all goes up to Canada.. theses people had really interesting stops along the way from each destination Black Bear trail all the way to Canada.😊
The Maitland Art Museum is just a street over from where you were. If you're ever back in the area, they can tell you tons of information about the house, carpentry shop and family. They also have a bunch of old relics in their museum and whole building dedicated to old telephones. The house is closed for renovations because of some damage caused from the last hurricane but hopefully will reopen soon. The carpentry shop is really cool on the inside and they have all of his old tools on display.
Great episode, as usual. Part of the "Old Dixie Highway" runs right through Bedford, Indiana. When I moved here from California 5 Years ago, I did some research on it after seeing signs for it. You can still drive on portions of it.
LOVED that park, truly had everything and the turtle fest was a real treat! Spokane has left the patches of brick roads in the historic district be as the asphalt broke off over the years and I love that look!
We are not from FL but we travel here a couple of times a year. and we saw you in Epcot yesterday. Husband said hi,Maybe we can get a pic or hello next time we see you. You were not vlogging.
@TheDailyWoo The turtle is a special mascot, a sign of resilience, for those of us in the GBS, CIDP, and MMN patient community. Andy Griffith, who I know is one of your favorite actors, was a GBS survivor.
ADAM, was watching your video here and you said Sault Ste. Marie the wrong way the best way to say it is Sue St. Marie.... My in-laws live in that are..... xxxxxxx

Adam, did you see the Angel in the clouds? Really enjoyed your video. Thank you for taking me along with you! That Lake Lily looked so beautiful and peaceful! And that road and buildings were cool and very interesting. You have some awesome and cool places in Florida.
A real Adam the Woo video... lawn maintenance! I have said, and will continue to say, you would make an excellent history teacher...and would have a special gift for teaching on field trips.
Is it truly a Woo vlog without a leaf blower?
Nope ha
.. 😆😄
It is hard to find anywhere without leaf blowers
It happens to Ron Carlson of FACES of the Forgotten as well ...and he usually has a train in the area as well which is super fun for me as I love trains

Seeing shapes in clouds is called pareidolia, the science behind seeing faces in everyday objects. Great video!!!

I believe they pronounce that "Sue" St. Marie. spent 5 years in Canada getting slapped around for my mispronunciation of words (eh?). 🙂
Love seeing the small towns and the history
I love it when you go to these towns and show different historic things. It's like I'm with you on a vacation.
