Saw them in Cleveland in November. The show was amazing, but the crowd singing along to Duchess was transcendent. What a magical way to say goodbye to Phil, Mike, and Tony.
I'm 33 years old, and I'm so grateful that I finally got to see them. In fact, I was so blown away by this show that I flew back to New York from Texas for the Long Island show several days later.
Duchess was the highlight of the tour. This song is one of their very best. After all, it's about them. Had they added Abacab and closed with Los Endos, it would have been perfect. But I can't complain, can I? 2007 should have been the end.
I will guaranty that this song was one of Tony's picks. To me Duke was the rebirth of Genesis.
He did write it! And the song is about them!
Yes, I don't remember where I got it from but Banks said somewhere "I don't care what we play, as long as we play Duchess!"
So glad that I saw them do this first time round at Manchester Apollo in 1980, the energy was amazing! I hope that Phil improves through the tour.
saw the very last night of the tour in Boston - what a wonderful surprise to hear this one! thank you for sharing
The vocals are getting much better as the tour carries on. Hope they re ord a dvd and a cd while they are
Agree, phil's vocal getting better if we compare than UK tour..
Hard to lift your diaphragm while sitting

i so sad for Phil .............
Don’t be. He looks so much better than when I saw him last year. His voice is getting better too. Don’t feel bad for him. He’s doing great

Я люблю Фила Коллинза!!!
Love Genesis...Great Song but listening to Phil was just too Painful!
Yes it is
Wasn’t painful when I was there listening. Was amazing. Always some bellend chiming in with a negative comment. It’s was all about being there. Music is officially dying and to watch and hear this live was beyond magical. Seen ten in their prime and this was no less magical. Your just missing the point. Trying to kick a man when he’s down and trying to make the best of what he has shows what arseholes you both are
@@lesleymurphy60 Ok some Bellend needs a Serious Reality Check..Phil was Magical and Owned the stage with his Voice and Drumming back in the day but now he is an Old Man sitting in a chair, trying to sing and relaying heavily on his backup singers. This is certainly not the Genesis you seen ten times before. Rutherford and Banks should have made a more conscience effort to tell Phil that his time with Genesis is Done!..It is not my intention to kick Phil while he is down but merely to point out the truth but if you can't see that, then perhaps your the Areshole!
@Amanda Booth if know history about phil you not be saying your negative comments to me
If Gabriel and Hackett aren't present on stage, it's NOT Genesis
Do see Hackett's next two tours, though. Seconds Out and Foxtrot.
That will happen to much problems banks and others ben there
The 70s ended. Get over it.
Invisible Touch was my introduction to Genesis as I was in college in the 80s. I'm a fan of it all I have seen Peter Gabriel and hope to see Steve Hackett I really like his material and the Genesis Revisited versions. The trio version is the longest and most successful and has always honored the entire history of the band (unlike Yes w/Steve Howe in charge, but that's another thing). Steve Hackett has always been open to a reunion, Peter is the one who never committed, and the other four agreed to not do the four piece ear as it was short lived, Hackett agreed to that.
@@PeterCamberwick what does GREAT music have to do with your immature response?
