As a tanned Asian girl, you don’t know how much this video makes me SO happy!!! It’s a well-known fact that having pale skin is the beauty standard in many, if not all Asian countries. We’re often bombarded by media and even our own relatives telling us to bleach our skin, we see ppl using foundation 5-10 shades lighter than their own skin, ppl using whitening filters for videos, and it’s heartbreaking when ppl make fun of us for being tanned. It’s ridiculous that being called tan is even considered an insult. However, you showed just how beautiful having tanned skin can be! It’s so refreshing to see a Chinese makeup artist do a makeup look like this. You look like you’ve been kissed by the sun-absolutely gorgeous!!! Thank you again for this wonderful, empowering makeup tutorial 💗
