Yup, I have one too and I absolutely love it. It hooks perfectly to pocket operators. I'm brand new to synths and making electronic music (I used to play guitar years ago, had to stop for unpleasant reasons but now physically can't doi it anymore) Would love to see some tutorials not just on the hardware but on song process. Excellent man, keep making great videos!
Glad to hear you've been getting back into music! I'll definitely do some more focused song writing videos, but my actual theory knowledge is lacking 😂 thanks for watching!
I am hoping a sync video with a PO-32 Tonic is also coming soon? Or any PO for that matter! Thanks for sharing this....Now I want a Volca Keys....and I never did before.
Volca FM.....not the best synth to start on Lol....not to mention that FM Syntheses is crazy complicated. Love this direction! Also as a rule, I'm not a fan of unboxings, especially when the product has been out for a while. But I liked this one....it was cool
Yeah hahaha I think in my mind I was like, "Everyone says its the deepest. That means I'll be able to get the most out of it." Then it shows up and it comes with a freaking map of secrets and I was instantly overwhelmed lol. I probably should have titled the video "exploration" but I wanted to capture my excitement of getting the box open haha. Glad you liked it!
I agree that the FM is probably not the best to start with but it was my first volca and I still love it haha. Took me awhile to learn its intricacies but it is definitely a great synth!
I'd had my Volca Keys for several days before realising that to switch it on, you have to hold the power button down for a couple of seconds. Until then I was charging batteries up, inserting them, swearing, charging again, etc!
@@FreeBeat if you were just starting to learn keyboard now, how would you do it? I don't play piano at all, but I've played various wind and string instruments
I'm lucky in that my best friend has a master's in music education, so he can provide answers and help quickly when I need it. Without him though I would probably pick up a lower-end digital piano and spend a little money on an online course.
Volcas are addicting af!! I’ve got the FM, Sample (OG and OKGO), Modular and Mix. Welcome to the rabbit hole
Nice! I'd love to pick up an FM again once I understand it a little more. Thanks for watching!
Volca Keys is a must have from the Volca series, enjoy!
Thank you!
The series is genius because, hey, why not get (whatever). Then you have one. Soon it's three. Then it's like, hey, what about this one.
WELCOME TO THE CLUB!! Love your approach with the POs I can’t wait to see what you do with this
Haha thank you, I'm excited to be here!
