The Fluke hack is awesome! Always have a Fluke rod on the deck Always! Never ever would have thought about rigging it sideways! Even if it tears a little bit at the tip,, just flip it over and use the other side! This tip would have saved me thousands of Flukes! You are at the top of my subscriber list my Man!
I am 100% going to try the fluke trick tomorrow. It will be crazy easy to switch it between the normal setup and this. I use a hook with a screw in the nose so it will be fun to try. Great channel. Thanks for sharing and always being positive.
I use a really small split shot on a hook shank sometimes to give a little weight when I fish with a gulp minnow. Gives it action that I really like and makes it a bit easier to cast
Love this!!! You inspire to think outside the box!!! I tend to get tunnel vision when rigging soft plastics. Definitely gonna try these tips the next chance I get. Love your channel LB!❤
I got 4 rods set up on my kayak so I have 4 different options to grab and cast. I can usually figure out the bass this way as I have search baits like a swim jig or a paddle tail on a couple rods along with a wacky and a shakeyhead. I'll switch up to other techniques if that doesn't work. I'll check all laydowns, rocks and areas of interest with whatever I think would work best for the situation. I am always trying new techniques on 1 of my rods to see if I find a new fav technique or trick that catches more fish. I'm gonna give these a try!
I’ve used a way of sizing down and slowing down. Or size up but still go slow. I’ll stay with just 3 baits and not change often use it and re use it. Then you can locate or try depth or not.
It got super hard here really fast. I think those bass are still shell shocked from an insane July 4th week. Lol. I haven’t ever rigged a fluke sideways - I will have to!
The 4th was rough here as well. I didn't go anywhere near the lake because of how nuts it was! But right after, the bite always seems to pick up. I wonder if the bass know the worst of the summer is over with.
Do you have a favorite bait hack that gets you extra bites?

Nice! It never hurts to try to find ways to give your baits some different action!
I did the split tail on a Ned rig and did really well with it. Thanks for the thought
Awesome! I'm glad you found it useful!
The gliding action on a hover rig works in deeper water too. There's something about it that bass just go after.
Bass go nuts for it!

It always helps to a plan!
I really like that fluke trick! Thanks for sharing these tips!
Awesome! Give it a try!
The action of the sideways fluke reminds me of a little Sluggo.
Those old Sluggo baits really got it done!
Great video, thanks for the tips. I haven’t experienced the hover rig, never had good luck on the fluke but I’ll be trowing it more. Thanks Lowbrow.
Thanks so much for watching!
Never even dreamed of doing that to a fluke 😮 Makes perfect sense, thanks for sharing LB 👊😎
I'm happy you liked it!
Thanks for some new tricks to help get a few more bites! Very nice! Thanks buddy!
You bet! Thanks so much for watching!
Funtime fishing 🎣
The best way to do it!
Thanks for all the useful info you constantly put out!!! You definitely stand out from most of the other thousands of utube videos
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
You always give me something new to try and keep me thinking! Another great video!
Awesome! Thank you!
I fish a neko close to the bank and I do good with it. When I can get them to bite, a neko usually is something I'm throwing.
A neko rig is a great fish catching tool!

Sounds like a a really great process!
G8 point bro!
Thanks!
I have never thought of rigging a fluke sideways....interesting for sure
Give it a try!

I might try cutting up a worm. Seems interesting. Don't think it'd do much good on a live nightcrawler though
Lol probably not.
I like the idea of the stick bait trick on a wacky style dropshot. 🤔
That's a great idea!
