Electric buzzing/static for intense ASMR vibrations - 1970's GE C4315B flip clock radio's alarm

- I discovered the awesome effects of electric buzzing long before the advent of ASMR.
As a child, I found that the ALARM on my parents' old clock radio produced such a wonderful tingling feeling in my body that I took the habit of sleeping with my ear to its speaker every night. Yes, the ALARM. This is no ear-shattering series of beeps or klaxons... the alarm in this radio is a BUZZZZZZZZ sound that feels very warming, especially when turned to a fairly high volume.
Even more crazy... I found that the oddball analog alarm triggering mechanism on this clock radio could easily become stuck, so that rather than having that awesome BUZZZZZ for a few minutes, I could often have it for hours.
This clock radio alarm has been the best ASMR device that I have ever discovered, and I am now sharing this hidden gem with the world. I still have the GE C4315B clock radio from my childhood, and over the years, I have picked up two more.
Each of my GE C4315B's seems to have a slightly different "sound" or "feel" to the buzzing alarm. I intend to post recordings of each. This is the first.
If you enjoy this as much as I do, you might consider buying one of these radios and keeping it by your bed. The buzzing alarm is more spectacular coming from the actual device, although recordings of it are a reasonable substitute.
This is exactly the same sensation I got from listening too the alarm, after my Dad went too work I would creep into mums bed, and when the alarm went off for school, I would hope she wouldn't wake up and hear it, and the sound was so peaceful and relaxing and sent shivers down my spine, I thought I was the only one who was like this, until reading this. I can't sleep in silence. This is a little lower in pitch but I still love it, thank you. I will see if I get the shivers tonight, instead of having too depend on Elvis..

Omg I had a little blue electronic alarm when I was about 10/11 with the same sound only thing is now I'm 52 I don't get the same goosebumps on my back I used to get as a kid , still don't sleep without it tho

Wow talk about a memory I'm 11,with an old alarm clock, actually trying to make this sound on the alarm play continuous,every time I drift it goes off , ohhh thank you for this EXACT same sound 🙂
Thanks for sharing this!!. as a kid my farther had an old flip clock alarm clock too, it was a more flat model and white with black front, and it had a slight different Buzz, I loved that thing, it had the option to turn the Buzz sound on all the time, I loved to fall a sleep to that thing 😀 it gave my such a good feeling and made my brain drift away in all kind of thoughts and dreams.. I kept it up through my teen's until it sadly broke. I have yet to finde another one, but this is a good enough replacement till I hopefully finde one like the one I had. My parents had an alarm clock similar to this sound. I used to fall asleep in their room on purpose to hear this sound. I tried for years to find this sound
😂😂😂 this is amazing. I used to dream of dad’s alarm clock going off just so that the sound could send me back to sleep. Very similar to this. Vacuum sounds and aeroplane sounds on UA-cam also have the same effect although this is amazing. Thanks for sharing - I’ve been searching for similar for a very long time!
I have a panasonic alarm clock radio and the alarm sounds similar and it definitely wakes me up
