I hate the HIMYM finale so much - they ruined Barney's arc completely and brought Ted and Robin back together who do NOT and will NEVER work as a couple
I was surprised and gratified to see the fugitive as #1. I remember My parents watching this show religiously. As a matter of fact I remember the night of the final, episode our toilet had broken. We only had 1 bathroom and 4 people, we needed the toilet. My dad sat in the bathroom With the small black and white portable TV. Fixing the toilet and watching Richard kimball go free. I remember towards the very end wondering when it was going to be fixed , because I had a serious need to use it. Dad was sitting on the floor in front of the toilet straddling it and watching the episode. That is a picture I will never get out of my mind. I laugh about it to this day.
Wonder years? Desperate Housewives? I'm surprised either didnt make it. I would have to say, "Six feet under" for #1. That was brilliantly done. Sia's song had a lot of power too, i remember downlowding it after the airing. Great count down as always!
That was an amazing finale. It wrapped everything up beautifully. Think it's one of the best finales. Just a shame the series still isn't that well known and loved.
At last because The Fugitive takes the number #1 as it's still one of the greatest television show I ever loved, it really explain everything for Dr Richard Kimble of finally got The One-Armed Man admit to the truth.
Note, if you will, that the broadcast HIMYM ending was *SO* polarizing -- more than half of regular viewers hated it -- and Carter Bayes, who wasn't willing to throw out the old footage of the kids -- SO BADLY that they had to edit -- and I think reshoot -- an entire alternate ending where Cristin Milioti DIDN'T die, to have any hope at all of selling the full-series boxset; it's the biggest betrayal of a fanbase, probably, in modern series television history, even outdoing Season 9 (and maybe seasons 8) of Scrubs. I am simply *boggled* that you didn't see fit to mention this point AT ALL in your piece; that's malpractice, too.
@@dietotaku I don't think so. I think that the ending they aired - and that this list discusses - doesn't actually explain anything at all. And more than half of their viewers reportedly agree with me.
I scrolled through looking for this specific comment - thank you for saving me from the effort of writing it! It definitely feels like an oversight to not mention the controversy over that awful, polarising ending 🥴
Just like the Everybody Hates Chris finale was lampooning that of The Soprano's; The Middle's series finale seemed to be a spoof of Six Feet Under's. Just like SFU's ending had Claire driving and flash forwarding to the eventual fates of everybody including herself, before reverting to the present day, with Claire driving into the distance, The Middle's finale shows the entire Hecht family driving to parts unknown, with Frankie(Pat Heaton) flash forwarding with her narration of how everyone turned out, like Sue's marriage, before reverting back to the present day with them sill on the road. Unlike the bittersweet SFU conclusion, TM's ending was much happier and more positive.
Orphan Black Sarah was not curious in the first episode. She😅 was trying for a new identity. Her whole arc was her going from a selfish drifter to a leader sister and mom. Kicking ass along the way.
Gossip Girl’s ending explained nothing. If Dan was Gossip Girl the whole time, why did act shocked at posts while he was by himself? Why did he spread compromising rumors about himself? How did he post while he was busy doing other things at times? It makes no sense.
You did not give the correct ending to Battlestar Galactica. When they finally found Earth, it had been devastated by nuclear war. The survivors spread across the planet with the intention of never creating cities again figuring that would prevent history from repeating itself. What you showed was a flash forward. This was millennia after the settlement of the planet. (Here's hoping you do better with the rest of your list)

The Six Feet Under finale was one of the best I have ever seen.
I hate the HIMYM finale so much - they ruined Barney's arc completely and brought Ted and Robin back together who do NOT and will NEVER work as a couple
Well, the show wasn’t about Barney’s arc, and life is messy.
@@kellidinit3725 I know but Barney was always my favourite in HIMYM
I don’t like how the kids are like pushing him to go after Robin
I honestly didn't mind that Wandavision took so long to explain what was going on, as it allowed us to draw our own conclusions, much like the agents.
Exactly
It was a slow burn but it got up to speed and never stopped!
WandaVision… crazy ending!
I like WandaVision, and man, Wanda is such a tragic character.
so sad
It’s sad now she’s gone.
I agree. She lost everyone she cared about.
I spent most of that show crying 😭😭😭 A couple of episodes made me cry more but I still cried a whole lot during the entirety of the show
poor her
It has been years, and my heart still isn't ready to re-experience the end of The Good Place again.
Same,I bawled my eyes out at that finale, happy tears but still.

Newhart final episode- best end scene ever (works if you knew his earlier show) ... (and loved the Breaking Bad/Malcolm in the Middle riff on it).
Orphan Black was amazing show!

4:30 I still hate the How I Met Your Mother season 9 finale. 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
There was an alternate ending. I’m sure you can find it on line. I didn’t mind the finale. It was messy, like life.
Although it only lasted one season, Life on Mars was one of my fav shows. The finale was both unexpected and bizarre.
Mine too.
Big Life On Mars fan. It was a brilliant finale. The sequel series Ashes to Ashes did an even better job of explaining everything.
12 Monkeys.
I remember being sceptical that they would be able to wrap up and explain everything in a satisfying way but somehow they did.
That was an amazing finale. It wrapped everything up beautifully. Think it's one of the best finales. Just a shame the series still isn't that well known and loved.
Of course i agree. Happy sunday night, Rebecca. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
The Monk finale made me cry but it felt so satisfying
At last because The Fugitive takes the number #1 as it's still one of the greatest television show I ever loved, it really explain everything for Dr Richard Kimble of finally got The One-Armed Man admit to the truth.
Not like I've ever done before and reference my age. But, THE FUGITIVE with David Jansen is absolutely the #1. I was addicted to this show.
The ending of HIMYM SUCKED! She died??!! And he ends up with Robin 🙄? Sorry that’s like finishing it saying “it was a dream”
Or like real life. People die. Divorces happen.

that bit feels like a point on a different list, one that would probably be topped by game of thrones' finale instead.
That really just sounds like a lot of whining.
@@dietotaku I don't think so. I think that the ending they aired - and that this list discusses - doesn't actually explain anything at all. And more than half of their viewers reportedly agree with me.
@@All5Horizons Betcher fucking a. They wasted how many years of my time watching their show?
I scrolled through looking for this specific comment - thank you for saving me from the effort of writing it! It definitely feels like an oversight to not mention the controversy over that awful, polarising ending 🥴
Ashes to Ashes and Life on Mars.
Parenthood had the most satisfying ending as it updated viewers on all its characters.
It's good when a series can be properly ended, even if you are shocked by or don't agree with the ending.
It wasn’t my favorite show but the last episode of monsieur spade explained a lot.
Just like the Everybody Hates Chris finale was lampooning that of The Soprano's; The Middle's series finale seemed to be a spoof of Six Feet Under's. I love WandaVision mostly because of Wanda Maximoff's character development.
Ted meets Tracy, they fall in love, get married, have two kids. The End!
Now do top 10 shows where the last minute wraps everything up perfectly. Like 12 days of Christine.
Honor - "Moral Orel" (2005-2008)
Orphan Black Sarah was not curious in the first episode. She😅 was trying for a new identity. Her whole arc was her going from a selfish drifter to a leader sister and mom. Kicking ass along the way.
I did enjoy the ending of wandavision
I would like to write in vote Agents of Shield
In the year or our lord. 2024 I find out the movie the fugitive is a remake of a TV show
😂😂😂And the series inspiration came from the Sam Shepherd murder trial.
Wish under the dome had a real ending 😢.

Im Absolutely huge fan of WandaVision show
Wandavision #1
House had the best final episode ever.
How is Lost not on this list?
Hey
What about Roseanne and her closing monologue? 🤔
Agreed it was satisfying.
HIMYM started out so good and then the last season happened and I lost all interests. Huge disappointment.
WandaVision should be 1#
HIMYM ending sucks 😠😠😠
How about gossip girl ?
Gossip Girl’s ending explained nothing. If Dan was Gossip Girl the whole time, why did act shocked at posts while he was by himself? Why did he spread compromising rumors about himself? How did he post while he was busy doing other things at times? It makes no sense.
@@evanstallard1515i see it as a fight club/jekyll and hyde thing. That's the only explanation i can think off
The alias finale was built for a countdown like this. An honorable mention at least. Your channel often ignores JJ Abrams series apart from Lost
Babylon 5.
Newhart.
Had a child with someone BEFORE they met and it is classified as an affair? No
Hi
Lost should be number 1
The Lost ending is terribly underwhelming. It leaves a massive amount of plotholes.
Lost should forever be banned from any mention on any list ever. They did exactly what they promised the fans they wouldn’t do.
Supernatural
Yeah HIMYM explained everything but in a TERRIBLE WAY 😂😂😂

Wandavision did explain everything but it was still (my opinion) mediocre and predictable
