I fell in love with medicine because of you . I'm currently a final year mbbs student Just finished my 8th semester. I had 3 cases of nephrotic syndrome in my exam in medicine and pediatrics . Also my friend had a patient of Diabetes .i helped her to diagnose it . Thanks to your videos now I'm able to think out of my sphincter. And ya right now I'm enjoying your hematology videos. Thank you for your efforts 🙏🙏 love from Rajasthan, India.
Bro i want to unlock the anatomy and neuroanatomy playlist but i dont know where to buy it. I went to your website but couldnt find it and it says to see video i have to be level 2 . Help
It’s not on my website, it’s here on UA-cam: ua-cam.com/channels/l-J-ovSJhA3or73Q2uVpow.htmljoin Make sure to join level #2 as it contains all my premium anatomy and neuroanatomy videos. Thanks!
Another great video. However, my burning question for you is, besides the obvious b12, b9, and b6 deficiencies throwing a monkey wrench into the methionine/Homo cycle, Cannot toxic metals block and oxidize the nutrient vitamins? As an example, birth control can cause a copper overload as Cu and the estrogens are intimately related, and since Cu is the most electrical nutrient mineral and through Fenton Weiss chemistry, will Cu have the propensity to block and oxidize the nutrient vitamins and have an effect on increasing Homocysteine as it seems the entire world is loaded with toxic metals including the oxidized version of nutrient minerals that behave like a toxic metal. Also, do these genetic SNPs have something to do with copying the DNA and not actually faulty DNA? As a result of RNA biosynthesis, cannot the problem be in the RNA and not the DNA. As it seems from all of these genetic tests, the entire world is plagued with so many SNPs, as we are all doomed and gloomed with all these polymorphisms. Something is not adding up as the fault lies in the DNA testing mechanism, not the bad genes, in most cases, but more the epigenetics affecting the copying, which is the problem. Coffee on me if you respond to my questions, even if it's an answer I don't like...
MTHFR stands for the enzyme [ MethyltetrahydraFOLATE Reductase ] . The active form to spin the methionine / homocysteine cycle/gear is called 5-MethyltetrahydoFOLATE. As you can see Folate ( vit. B9 ) is in the word. Vitamin company's use folic acid as vit B9. And processed foods and flour etc. folic acid is added in the name of public health. Approximately 45% of the population have difficulty converting folic acid in to 5-methyltetrahydafolate due to genetic single peptide polymorphisms ( SNIP's) there are two of these snips one is 677t genetic the other is 12 something (I don't remember ) chromosome s have GATC lateral rungs like a ladder connecting to the verticle chromosome strings in different combinations. An abbreviation which stands for the four nitrogenous bases that are found in DNA: guanine, adenine, thymine, and cytosine. These 4 in a row are your genes if the wrong letter is made like it should be ATCG but instead it's ACCG that's a genticsnip and the enzyme doesn't work at 100%. Perhaps it only runs at 30% because of this defect. For more info on MTHFR look up Dr Ben Lynch on yt. In summary adding folic acid is a bad idea. The folate gear runs 4 other very important gears which hurts people in many ways.
How to accelerate the transulfuration pathway? Even if the B6 blood serum is on the top the homocystein stay between 10-11 all the time even if I add methyl b complex, B9, B12 or TMG that make me feel sick. What I can do to drain it fast and safe?

why is folate supplementation necessary for MTHFR deficiency?
