Nice video ! Therefor, I'm a bit disappointed by the bradycardia… Actually I have been used to see that hypercalcemia gave tachycardia :/ Is it an error from the video or my knowledge ? (please, excuse me if my English isn't perfect, it's not my mother tong)

Can you explain the role of Mg in Hypercalcemia? I know that PTH stimulates the renal reabsorption of Mg, but that action is inhibited by Hypercalcemia...which is where I am confused. And that we must correct levels of Mg first in the case of Hypercalcemia.
Thank you
Causes?
I'm not in medical school like most of these people but I enjoy learning new things for free lol. Plus I research my own symptoms and find out what I have then I go to a doctor to see if it's the same just in case I'm wrong, it's a wierd thing I like to do
bisphosphonates cause osteonecrosis of jaw .nice MCQ.😆
Help...... I was recently told I have high calcium levels. But my parathyroid and thyroid look great. As well at my red and white blood cells. I read somewhere you can get elevated calcium from laying long periods of time and I have had Epstein Barr Virus for the last month I have been in bed. My drs. Do not know where my calcuim is coming from.
Any word? I have the same thing.

I love this video! However, I am a bit confused by the illustration of PTH stimulating osteoclasts. I've learned in class that PTH stimulates osteoblasts --> RANK-ligand --> osteoclast formation. So PTH stimulates osteoclasts indirectly, via osteoblasts. If osteoblasts die because of the tumor, how will osteoclasts then be formed?
Also, cortisol can cause osteoporosis due to osteoclast activity (again via osteoblast expression of RANKL). How can glucocorticoids then be a treatment? Will it not just cause more resorption of bone?
Luv luv luv osmosis you are just brilliant 🥰♥️🙌👏🏾
What kind of foods can we eat for hypercalcemia..??
Magnesium combined with vitamin D.
@@HealthWyze are u kidding me?

Thank you....a few years back (3) i was crazy for cheese. Within a year or so I began getting corns, 2-3 on each foot. Most along the area behind my toes...1 was near my heal. My blood ca was 10.5 now it is 9.7. I want to have a cardiac calcium scan so maybe in spring of '21. I find no mention of these little corns/pins that so annoy me
Can they be the result of a 2-3:year cheese bing? Thank you for this clip...I suspect my score will not be 0 yikes!
I was diagnosed with Sailolithsis after 5 yrs of swelling then my gland was removed due to size never decreased and showed precancerous qualities.. After surgey i get lyme 6 months later i see neck surgeon and tell him my other side is messing up now and he says get my parathyroid checked. I did and it comes back high calcuim and a bunch of stuff i dont understand.. my question is complex due to the tick bite after surgery and the relationship between hypercalcemia vs tick bite vs parathyroid. 🤔
Can I check if consuming too much milk kefir will overdose my calcium intake? I've recently have issue with my index finger, pain occurs when bended.. Kindly advise, thanks!
i think it would be more a Tacycardia then a bradycardia !!! ... anyway great video
hypercalcemia causes tachycardia not bradycardia ...... awesome video
All I learned that, I am dehydrated + lower my Vitamin D Intake levels.
Awesome video, thank you!
One question : isn't it TACHYCARDIA and not bradycardia in Hypercalcemia ?
high level on Ca in the blood can cause bradycardia but clinically speaking nothing comes exactly like books

hello, here is the confusion that I wanna clear. In the diagnosis of Hypercalcemia on ECG finding, its BRADYCARDIA, written in this video, and on the official site its TACHYCARDIA. Will you please clear me what actually is the diagnostic sign????/
