Yes, staying loose is very important BUT posture is the single most important virtue and no one ever talks about it. Not once has anyone ever told me anything about posture and I even have a degree in percussion. To prove my point, I've been playing for 59 years, but what have I gotten for my investment? Try 5 (yes five) lower spine surgeries, two rotator cuff surgeries, 1 left ankle surgery, 3 surgeries right hand, 2 surgeries left hand, and 1 surgery left hip. Not saying this to scare anyone away, but my orthopedic surgeon said with 80% certainty that my surgeries were all were caused by playing drums with no regard to posture. I just needed to say this because no one ever emphasized this at all!

I have a problem with very dry hands where I constantly drop sticks when using a relaxed grip. Hand lotion is too greasy. O'Keefe's working hands was the solution. Once it fully dries it leaves just a slight tack on your hands and it's perfect

Thank you! A lot of the material in this lesson I learned from Dom Famularo. I studied with him for over a decade. He was the grand master of technique.
