Beautiful 97 JR. I loved the oem graphic designs from Suzuki between 96-00. The only other things I see missing are the right side panel and the oem silencer. Cool little piece of history.
When I was about 10 I used to have dreams about someday owning an orange Suzuki DS80 with metal tank, lights & signals, and this thing which tells time.
Looks and sounds mint I have a little puch magnum x 1980 witch I’ve just had the engine re built now I’m in the process of spraying the tank and doing all the cosmetic stuff it needs it’s on my channel right now
The best 50cc, 80cc were the old like that never liked the pull started engines it’s not a lawnmower it may be small but it’s a motorbike no kickstart not interested. I mean don’t get me wrong i’ve rode a couple and had a blast but as far as owning one I’d have to pass no kickstart no sale as far as I’m concerned anyway stay safe and god bless your whole family ML&R.
I had a 87 Jr 50 and a 88 ds 80 and to be honest I don't remember ever putting 2 cycle oil in either for years. Lol. I even raced the ds in some local 80cc mx races. I looked dumb but never finished below mid pack
Time is the most valuable thing, first kick bike is worth the extra 400 bucks because I've spent it anyway in parts and time waisted. Slight risk factors in driving into unfamiliar territories. What's the definition of insanity I'll never learn, but pretty admirable way to go if your tickets up. Plenty of free mods for these db dad's shared online. Someone asked about the 6 to 9# hunk of sopping wet steel thing you can't see through on the end of the exhaust pipe, it's a boat anchor, just keep it off, works better without it, and it's still actually not loud enough for my safety preference.
Price of gas now ,I'm gonna make that my everyday rider ,put a headlight and break light on it & ride it to work,$2 a litre ,where I live ,about $6-$7 a gallon
I have a 1979 rm 60 needs a exhaust pipe go trusty and has hole in pipe but I used to smoke all the pit bikes I was 190 at the time that mini tm 60 I had the guys on pit bikes so mad cause I would smoke them on the track big jumps pinned. WideOpen.
Those are killer minibikes. That's nice attention to detail and cool looking graphics. Minibikes like this can change a kids life for the better.
My 1st accident was on one of those as a kid. I put my feet down to stop like The Flintstones and slammed into our garage 😆

When I was 5 I had a 99 jr50. It was pretty quick for what it was. My dad use to fallow me with his big mighty 1990 quadzilla 500! Miss those days!

I have 2 pw50s but always loved the more mini MX style look of the JR.
I learned to ride on one of those back in the early 80's. A much older one but almost exactly the same except the one I rode had a metal tank.
