My friend was visiting when I received my surprise box. We were both disappointed. We felt the same as you, two of the frame items and the 40% off was included as an item. I can speak for both of us, that I would rather a 40% discount on the new 2018 life planners coming up. But I am using the notebook, although I'm not a rose gold person, I love the foil look inside the cover and around the edging of the pages. I can always use a list pad but thought it wasn't the same quality as other list pads that I have ordered in the past. Love the note card - good quality but would have liked one for each month as in the first seasonal box and fortunately, I love the new design. I use the corner pockets for a temporary holding spot for receipts in my billing planner. I also use them to hold movie tickets/other small items until I put them in my memory planner. They do hold up nicely and you can move them like a post-it. I find they are most durable if you leave them in the original spot. Thank you for your honesty in your review :-)
