LOL, I laughed so hard “ I fell off the wagon and the horse has been dragging me for the last 50 feet” Happy Birthday week 🎉
Funny cuz it true!
Omg, you had me cracking up w/ your jumbo margarita haul!! You could add the disco ball to your Shining party, heh. 😀
Yes!!!!!
A nice cup of coffee and your sat chat is the best way to start my Saturday mornings. I always look forward to it.
Thanks 😊
Enjoy the weekend. Lifting weights is boring but on the bright side you’ll be able to open jars without help. Ha ha… I know it’s helped me. Have a good one.
Thanks for the tip!
Lifting weights is crucial for managing my menopause health but I hate it. I need to love it. The only way I can be pain free.
May the weight lifting Gods be with me
@@marlbboro8091Yeah. It’s good to maintain bone density to keep osteoporosis at bay.
Hi Lindsay! Oh.. I say pfffft! to that nonsense about using a collar instead of a harness. There are some harnesses that even keep dogs from pulling. Yes, so easy for them to slip out of a collar. I will not use a collar, mainly because I have a Shih Tzu and it's so easy for them to get collapsed tracheas from collars if they pull at all. I'm glad Penny is ok. 💕
😆No more post-margarita shopping for Lindsay!
TFS ❣
Good idea!
Shinning party! RiP Shelley Duvall
I know, so sad.
Oohhhh, waterfalls!! Please tape one❤
Whoever you heard that from about the harness, collar. I have to disagree. Harness is much safer for dog. Raised many many huskies.
I posted photos and a quick video on my Instagram.
You love painting shiny reflective things so that disco ball makes sense! We'll be watching for the tutorial!😂
And I bought your glass class as I like bright shiny things too!🥰
Good idea!
You could make it a still life with champagne flutes, metallic streamers, just reveling in the all the reflections.😉
What a morning! I am hoping actually, that this weekend, my beagle, Wilson will get a bath. He needs it with all this humidity! love when my children clean and help me organize for my birthday or any day for that matter! The Iris flower is so pretty! I need to buy a printer, ugh! I have terrible luck with printers but I love the convenience of having one at home and not having to travel to the library or wherever to print. Happy Birthday Lindsay! Enjoy!
It's hard to find a food one. We got an Epson and it works great but we're didn't get the eco tank model so I cam constantly replacing cartridges, ugh. Sams Club had a good price on the eco tank one, I wish I git that one.
Video title cracking me up 😂 🤟🏻
I beleive in truth in advertising 😆
You crack me up with your margarita frenzy! I am trying to use all my scraps of paper before buying any more. Then I soberly (lol) bought more Christmas paper to start my cards early. I make 90 cards so I need to get going. I took your advice and bought the Meilang watercolor set. Now I will have to resist if Paul Reubins goes on sale. I look forward to painting the iris. I am falling behind painting a theme a day for July. Have to catch up today. I really enjoy your chats and will look into more classes! Happy Birthday!! Make it last as long as you can. At 73 in June I want to make it last as long as I can.
Good advice! I love the look of Frank Garcias (Prima) Christmas paper line.
Oh Lindsay, your Penny tales are priceless!! 😂😂😂 Great SatChat!!! 🤩😂👍🏾💜✨Love your daily IG posts for WWCM24 and today’s ‘Arch’ rocked… trés impréssive! Always glad to see extroverted Lindsay, and wishing you continued joy for your birth month. Have a swell week!! 🥰
Thank you! I have an ambitious idea for vitamin but I'm not sure I'll finish it in time. I might need to flip-flop an idea!
I’m signed up for the Michael’s class and can hardly wait! I bought the Derwent line and wash set and absolutely love it. I also bought the Meiling 36 watercolor set from Amazon because it was on sale for like $16.(the older set). I like them a lot. But the Derwent set is my absolute favorite.
I just bought a portable ac/heater for my tiny house, so no Prime Day purchases for me. Besides, I have art supplies that I’m using first.
And yes, I’d love to see real time videos when you can because you’re the best!
Thank you!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Hope you have a wonderful day. Thank you so much for sharing all you finds. I love the books, thank you, I'm going to get those. I don't know what I would do without your suggestions on art supplies. Have a wonderful day!
Thank you so much!
Omg Giant Margaritas
Disco balls
And Art …….O yes and the laughter thanks for the chat.
When you whipped out that disco ball I laughed so hard. 😂
As for the weights they are super boring but I’m learning all these people with these super fit bodies can’t do a lick of cardio but look absolutely fantastic. It’s the weights!!
2-3 time a week and if you want to go light you can just go until you tire out that part and move on.
Technically it’s Still your birthday sooooooo HAPPY BIRTHDAY 🎉🎊🤣
Thanks!
Happy Birthday!! What an awesome day to see that Ocean Sun fish that would be fun to see you paint they look so prehistoric. 🤩Funny about your dog taking off and getting muddy.. Maybe the harness is better..
I used the still damp harness today!
Yes to weights! I started a couple years ago and it’s been life changing. When I’m consistent with it I notice a drastic improvement in my overall health and (obviously) strength which is much needed for long treks with painting and camera gear!
Thanks for the encouragement! You do bring a lot of stuff to paint and film with so ot must work!
You can get a martingale collar, its what you use on dogs with narrow heads and necks like greyhounds, wont be too tight but also wont slip out. Also a slip lead like what they use at dog shows, it self tightens. Harnesses are perfectly fine, every dog is different.
That’s all I use. I’m paranoid about regular collars. We have several 😊
Good tip!
Our groomer suggested the martingale but it doesn't help my westies pulling.
Happy Saturday everyone
🤗💕 thanks
Happy Saturday 🥰
Good morning and happy Sat chat!! I finally have a feee Saturday morning to watch!! Your stories with the dog make me laugh, I am sure not you though at the time!! I normally forget to shop Amazon Prime days because of work, but being semi retired I will be off so will be able to check it out. Have a fantastic weekend💕💕
You too!!
Sounds like you had a wonderful birthday! Glad you enjoyed all the gifts and treats and your waterfall pictures from your day trip were so good I am going to try painting one of them. Enjoy your week Lindsay and I look forward to your class next Friday.
Awesome! I hope to see your painting!
These classes are well worth the value I have access to most all and have practiced , learned, and progressed with my art. Happy Birthday Lindsey.
Thank you!!!
I encourage you to look into the overall health benefits of HRT - what available for perimenopause & when you're menopausal. Also lifting HEAVY weights is an absolute necessity if you want to maintain your "ideal" weight, lean muscle mass to help you burn calories, protect your bones and joints, etc. . . Doing what you've done for decades does not work when your body becomes estrogen deprived.

@SnigDig I had my levels checked, I still am making estrogen.
Lindsay girl, you are funny! Thank you for the laughs and I’ll remember to never go shopping after having a margarita! Hope you had a great birthday!😂🎉
Happy belated birthday, Lindsay! Sounded like a busy week! I think your BEST gift was that sparkly kitchen! GREAT gift!!
Yes!
another amazing episode, always look forward to these chats ☺☺
Thanks 😊
Love the beautiful Iris. Thank you for the generous discount on your class. All your classes are awesome. :) I love the rose, too. Beautiful.
You are so welcome!
Love the disco ball 🪩! Also love the Shining.
I use a harness on my dog, he’s big and strong and pulls until he chokes if I use a collar. He’s a rescue and I don’t think he had much lead training.
Hope you have a magnificent birthday weekend!!!🎉🎉🎉
Birthdays last at least a week long, so continue to have fun! Summer is special too! Sat Chat is something I always enjoy! Thanks so much for allowing us to know more about your adventures! You would be so much fun to spend time with!!😉🤗
Awww, thank you!
Birthdays come in seasons! One week for every decade of life is my motto!
You are such a chatty Kathy. So adorable. Happy Birthday. 😊🎉
😊
Glad you had a fun birthday week, happy birthday!🎉
All those parties! Good you have a clean kitchen too! 😂😂
I love the locket palette idea - it could be a great gift with a small watercolour pad and a waterbrush.
Yes!
Hi, Lindsay. Thank you for your video.❤
You are so welcome!
😂😂😂 the disco ball
I love your disco ball !❤ And margaritas! Makes me think of Hotel California !
Not me almost buying disco lights couple of days ago for when I dance around the house with the cat 🤣 We're cruising on the same wavelengths, Lindsay lol
Love the real time videis. Michaels haul was surprising, disco ball, really??? Have fun closing out your birthday week painting with your friend. What a great gift from your girls, better than stuff. I am tempted about your compass.
I think it might actually be a jumbo Christmas ornament 😆
It is my birthday tomorrow so at the beach in Washington state. And I had me a nice strong margarita yesterday. 😁 I haven't tipsy shopped at Michael's only Marshall's/TJ Maxx😂 Yay for Summer time fun! Thanks for the Sat chat!
Happy birthday!! 😂😂😂 this video was soo funny. Xx
Thanks 😊
Thank you. Enjoyed it.
Thanks 😊
Ysaasaay sat chat! I love ping pong!!! Thanks for sharing❤
I’m glad you caught Penny in the end! That’s 1 of my worst fears, having my doggie run away. X.x
Happy birthday! ❤ Saw your photos at the waterfall. It looked so fun!
Thank you so much!!
I love Fantasy Lindsay's Disco Ball! I would have bought it too! Bounce some coloured lights off it - it'll be mad! I'm sure you'll make some grand things with your other purchases - looking forward to seeing your mini pallets! Thank you for your cheerful chat!
I'll share when I make them! The locket was only $5 regular price too!
Oh my goodness, the dog story. So frustrating trying to get a dog back who does not come when you call it. So glad you did get her back. That yellow iris is gorgeous. I am busy loading up our travel trailer for a camping trip. But it is to be super hot today. No fun. I am looking forward to seeing what you paint today.
Thanks 😊
Love the title! And we all follow the Pied Piper of crafting! The disco ball had me laughing so hard! My dog has a tie out just to go potty and we're always with her outside for protective reasons, but sometimes she manages to get the clasp loose so we've added a short nylon rope with clips on each end and tied it by the other one. If she gets loose she runs like a shot and has to visit all the neighbors. Some have much bigger dogs than her. Maybe a combination of harness and collar would keep Penny more contained. That iris is beautiful. I have pictures of some that my parents grew years ago so that will be a fun class to learn from. The little pallets are so cute! My adult son has been a power lifter for about 20 years now (which doesn't seem possible!) and is into music and guitar. He has playlists of various genres for whatever he's doing. It helps with cadence and breathing even if you're lifting so that might be helpful. Have a great week and I'm glad you had so much fun over your birthday! Thanks for the great Sat Chat!
Thanks for the tips!
Yes, gelli printing is so fun. I have not done that for a while. I have so many supplies. 😅
We need to ha e art parties!
Love the disco ball. Has Jason seen it? What did/would he say? It's been years since I've purchased something like that, but his usual response, especially if I was so very excited at the idea, was, "What did you buy that for? Isn't that for parties? We hate parties." Um, no my love, YOU hate parties. Of course, if I got something because it was too cheap to pass up and got it thinking at least he can't yell about how much it cost, he'd say, "We've been having a lot of family parties since we landscaped the yard. That'll come in really handy." OOOOhhh...49 years last month and predicting his reaction still escapes me.
So love the iris and the rose - so pretty and soft and mellow? Is that the word I want? They both kind of invite the viewer to ease on in and bask in the loveliness.
Thank you! Jason don't really care what I buy luckily:)
Ohhh, a Shining Party! Wouldn't that be FUN!? Glad you had a great birthday week. 🙂
Yes! Thank you!
I bought the Watercolor Glass class and I'm so glad I did! It's such a unique subject and I've learned so much already. I've done some practice paintings and hopefully will upload that pic tonight. My comfort zone is abstracts or super loose florals/landscapes, I've never painted details or realism like this... I'm surprised and proud of my efforts so far!
Yay! Awesome!
Have a great weekend. I have been enjoying your WWCM paintings. Glad you had a good birthday.
Thanks 😊
You needed that disco ball! It's absolutely essential!
😆
FYI….if you are gonna lift weights….your weight may go up a little because muscle weighs more. Weight watchers taught me that.
Good to know!
Happy Birthday Lindsay! 🎈
Thanks 😊
I’m so so glad that you are doing the flower tutorial! I was hoping so.
It will be up tomorrow!
hooray 🎉
OK, for every weight I try to lift this next week, I'll be thinking of you...even if they are only 3 lb weights! Something is better than nothing! Happy belated Birthday, Lindsay! Thanks for the disco ball laugh.
Sure is!
Thank you for the chuckles. My dog is a flight risk, too...as if she has it so bad here!
Everything looks better through the bottom of a glass 😂😂😂
😆
Happy birthday Lindsay! 😊 I fell of the wagon too, went to town and bought 3 more of your classes. Now I have 6.. let’s see when I get my act together and actually start going through them 😂
You got this!
Happy Birthday Lindsay! Sounds like it was good. 🎉
It was!
Happy birthday!! 🎂🎈🎉
Treats and drop to the ground and be playful. They'll normally come.
Thanks for the tip
Great post, Lindsay! I love the title!
Im doing junk journal july, and for the "color" prompt, it will be all about
July being world watercolor month. I'm planning that page already, even
though its not til the 21st. Have a great week! Hugs! Peggy
Lindsay; Re: Escaped Dogs!
I used to own 2 large Rottweiler/ Shepherd mix dogs. This was when I lived near a State highway in the upper Palm Springs area.
My Dogs loved to get out! But they also loved riding in the car.
So when they Escaped, I would drive around the neighborhood and open the door. They would jump in! Then, I would take them around the block so they wouldn't get wise to my tactics.
Maybe it would work on Penny?
I'm so glad you have friends to go paint with...
So sweet of your girls to scrub down the kitchen!
Again, Happy Birthday MONTH!❤
Penny hates to ride in a car 😆
@@thefrugalcrafter That's too bad!
Happy belated birthday! Xx ❤❤❤
Thank you!!
Favorite quote, “Welcome to my gun show..” You crack me up! Happy Birthday, Baby!
Damn , with me just coming from the extensive Rust Alec Baldwin trial from law tube that momentarily had a completely different effect on me 🤣
@@marlbboro8091 I too just came from Runkle's Rust coverage, but here is Lindsay innocently flexing her arms and chirping her gun show comment, and I just lost it…much more refreshing than the state of our legal system. Good call on the dismissal with prejudice…the Constitution trumps my viewpoint any day.
I didn't even think of that!
@@thefrugalcrafter no worries, that’s what a community is for…It takes all of us to make life spicy 🌶️!
Happy Birthday!!! 😂😂😂
Thanks 😊
Happy Birthday and I appreciate your discount, I was able to sign up for two more classes! Need to finish the colored pencil class, then onward to new adventures.
I'll make sure to check your Prime list because there are some supplies I'm still looking to purchase and if they're discounted, all the better! Thanks Lindsay.
Awesome! Thank you!
Love this so much: margaritas shiny disco ball and I hate to lift heavy things!❤️😂
You are my people!
Such a nice spot of fun and positivity On a rainy morning in a camper! Happy Birthday 🎉
Thanks 😊
I love the creatology line at michaels. It's always cute and cheap, and the art supplies are perfect for sketchbook work.
Nice!
Lifting weights has had the biggest impact on my physique. But it takes consistency. I can’t wait to hear the impact on your paddle boarding, sleep, etc. Great job trying new things! I would love to see a puffin.
I hope I can find my groove with it!
@@thefrugalcrafter Trying a few different styles of lifting/machines and routines will help, along with giving yourself grace. I am sure you can reach out for support from others too. You can do it!
Belated happy birthday Lindsay! Love the disco ball, can't beat a slightly tipsy random purchase😂.
My brother lost 20kg cutting calories and weight lifting so it works! Been meaning to do it myself...
Good to know!
Oh no im so lucky to live in place were i can walk my dogs off lead i remember the days of chasing them down lmao😂
One of my dogs will come back to me only if I say ‘ok bye and walk off’ the other one will be like ‘ yeah byeeeeeee’ 🤦🏽♀️ always on leash
I wish! My previous dog was so good, she never took off and would just stay with us if we were trail hiking. This one sees a deer and would be gone!
Luv Luv Luv the way your hair is twisted in your scarf!!
Thanks 😊
If you want to paint plain air in pretty locations when you are 85, it would be wise to start lifting weights. Lifting is the best and pretty much the only way to prevent bone loss, especially for women in menopause. And, as a female who has lifted for the last 25 years, it's just friggin awesome to see how the strength and stamina increases as I continue with my workouts. Don't get me wrong, I love my running and I still do it 5 times a week 5 miles at least each time. But there is nothing more empowering for me, a woman in the middle of her life, to feel strong, fit, resilient and plain awesome than a good long lifting session. Weight training has been the best mood booster for me since I have discovered it all those years ago. So happy birthday, happy lifting and to a healthy and fulfilled 48 more years! 🎂
Wow, inspiring!
Everyone needs a disco ball! Sparkling ball of fun. Thank you very much for a lovely sat chat! Saturdays wouldn't be the same without you:). Some unsolicited dog training advice, if unwanted please just disregard it. I just know how scary it is and i would like to help in a tiny way. ( I'm a professional dog trainer, I learned under Gwen Bailey from UK, she published few Collins books, I've been training dogs for15 years. ). Definitely harness for a doggie that pulls, collar can slip off and can do serious damage to their throat, evidence based research shows. They might pull tiny bit less with a collar, if pulling is an issue, halti makes no pull harnesses and gadgets, and training. Recall, every time you are going to do/ give her something she likes call / whistle the same way, when she comes praise her and give her the reward- food, walk...anything. around the house and garden, as often as you can. When she escapes use the same call, whistle,, when she comes back, Praise her lots, reward her, give her treats. Dogs remember the very last thing they did, for few seconds to minute- she came back. She doesn't remember she ran away. Ideally no punishment should be used in dog training and if any it needs to be absolutely immediate for the pup to connect their action. You have to be super positive about her coming back, otherwise she things you are upset about her coming back. Her escaping is long forgotten. Tap into your relief you got her back. I know it's hard, been there :) I can give you some tips how to teach recall as well but even with lots of hard work she might never be 100% reliable. Lots of dogs are like that. Gosh I wish I was closer and could help, I have learned SOOO much from you. Your videos have been life changing, especially giving watercolour another try. Hope you've had great time painting the waterfall and the old train station, sounds like so much fun.
Thank you:)
Sat Chat is still the best!!!! Have fun painting!
Thanks 😊
I have read animal practitoners who practice acupuncture and also chiro that harnesses should be used and not collars as they say that even with gentle corrections of the leash from the human can cause the spine to become damaged and pulled out of alignment. Which can lead to injurys, pinched nerves, and mobility issues etc. Harness is def the way to go. The kind where the lead is attached to the mid of the back i guess is best.
Hope to take one or two of your classes. The glass one especially looks nice!
Thanks!
Lol...Lindsey, I love your stories! First, I hope you got the itchy or big out of your dress. Second... when I wash my dogs harness, I put it in a lingerie bag and throw it in the washer and dryer. Works fine. I never use a collar because yorkies are prone to collapsed trachea. You can go ahead and be a bad influence for me all day! Love your opinions and ideas!
PS Show us your gelli party!! That will be super fun.
The elliptical is weight bearing, so technically you're right! As well, all weight bearing exercises help fend off osteoporosis, and apparently helps us with peri-menopause symptoms!
I am concerned with osteoporosis because they say is more common if you have light skin and eyes.
Hullo Lindsay, I am hopeful that you are enjoying celebrating your birthday anniversary day, week, month too! I have never had a dog that was a runner, my sister had a dog several years ago and every time she drought him over he ran out the gate if it was even open a crack! Buffy, our current dog will look at the open gate and walk around it to get into the yard! She knows life here is simply better than anywhere else! I have never enjoyed exercising, the whole deal, running, weights, cardio, they are sooooo boring! I just plod along as I do and I feel fine. Thank you for sharing another SatChat, you are always a hoot and a joy to get going on Saturday morning. Please take care, be safe and enjoy the rest of your day!
You too!
I can really identify with the wandering dog! We had a runner who would go around for hours. One time I met someone who said they thought he was their neighbor’s dog and took him to the neighbor’s house. When the neighbor opened the door, she let our Teddy go and said, “Here’s Minnie back.” She told me that Teddy walked in the house, licked the baby and went over to Minnie, who was wagging away. The 2 black labs turned and both ran out the door! So Teddy led a jailbreak. We finally found him that day at the house of someone down the street who had a ferret that Teddy was interested in.
Dogs are so naughty!
Hey, happy belated birthday 🎉
Thank you!!
Happy Belated Birthday🎉. My birthday was Monday, took one of our dogs for eye surgery to have an eye removed, due to glaucoma and late in the day, we found out our VISA/ATMs compromised. Not my best birthday 😜. I finally did the Michael’s class you taught back on January, using Inktense pencils, perfume bottle, thanks for a great video.
Oh no, what a day! I hope your pup is healing well:)
Happy Happy!!! I have 4 kids, 2 December and 2 July (42-50). I recognize your need for sunshine and summer parties! LOL! I was born in May and like rain! My Decembers love snow! By the way, have you ever tried the tiny (0.3 gram) WC pans? I just put some in an empty plastic AAA AC Delco battery case - I got THIRTY SIX pans in there! I haven’t actually put paint in yet, but they would work for necklace-type palettes! You would need to use a small brush… but the choices!!! LOL!
Cool!
I’m glad you had a good birthday! If you don’t want have a tight collar on your dog, I’d recommend a Martingale collar. The company Ruffwear makes a style with a nylon mesh. It’s not a choke collar. Most of it is a regular nylon collar that fastens with a clip, but there’s a section that is made of either nylon mesh or chain that can move freely, so if the dog pulls, that part tightens, making the collar temporarily tighter. When the dog stops pulling, the collar goes back to its usual loose fit, so she can’t pull out of it, but you don’t need to keep it tight. The guide dog school my brother and I got our guide dogs from use this style of collar, and my mom got one for her dog as well because Zoe has a small head and can pull out of a regular collar without even trying. I checked Amazon, and they’re on there, if you want to try it.
Thanks for explaining, I didn't know about those.
I was just about to mention that type of collar. Our dog has one. It was recommended by a neighbor. No more frightening escapes! (We live near a busy street.) A Martingale collar is the way to go. Good luck!👍
Good cardiologist? Ric hard Simmons VHS tape " Sweating ti the Oldies." I still have one, but at 79, it stays in my old storage cabinet! It was fun while it lasted, though! Lol!
I love margaritas! My favorite Mexican restaurant has The Best Ones! Happy Birthday! My son had one on the 8th. He was 49. Where have those years gone??
It goes so fast! I am all set with cardio, I have no problem getting enough of that. I need to do weight training.
Oh, that rose, can't wait to see that.
Coming soon!
A harness is a life saving device for some dogs.....no matter what the collar only people might say. You know your dog, Lindsay, so use what you deem best for YOUR dog.
Good idea!
Happy Birthday! Sounds like you had a great week. Like the coral/orange color on you- very pretty.
Thanks 😊
Your birthday sounds like it was a wonderful day! Oh my, I love beautiful tools and that Iris compass is gorgeous. I like their Stria ruler too, may have to put those on my wishlist. You and Penny! It’s a recurring theme, you should know if you put her in a collar you are going to be chasing her. Maybe time for a second harness. Now I want Thai food and a margarita! 🪩 🪩 🪩 🎉. You got me started on using old botanicals and painting them, it’s one of my favorite things to do. I saw some chicory growing by the side of the road last week and found a botanical for my inking. I spent three days getting the blue right- it’s an ethereal blue lavender. The magic was using Chinese white and the right brand of ultramarine (Sennelier), with a touch of quin magenta. Other brands looked too grey. It was quite a learning experience. I think I may play with some oil pastels today. I feel like scribbling. Cant decide if I want to use the cheapo Mungyo water soluble ones, or the regular ones.
That sounds lovely!
Jumbo margarita- you are too funny. Just love that. Great background stamps. With embossing. Great. Lindsay you look great. Just eat 80% good foods and indulge a bit, not too much. You are active and busy that takes energy and walking that dog keeps you fit. Don't you love summer? I just love it! I am a total weakling also. I am just 5 2 so there is that , but also I am a wimp. I do lift weights 4 or 5 times a week, but never get stronger it seems. I suppose at 63 what can you expect? But I am hoping I am at least maintaining. So glad you had a great birthday week.
My dog is very strong and I use easy walk harness when I know she may forget her manners and a martingale for regular walks. She’s never slipped out of either. She also wears a normal collar with and AirTag 😊 she’s 70 pounds.
Good to know!
I saw a little disco ball in 5 Below and just had to own it.
I was a 20 something in the 70s and always wanted one!
Nice!
Happy birthday week. Sounds like you got to do some fun things. There are some dogs it’s just better to walk on a harness. My boxer mix girl had kind of a thick neck and if I did the finger test for tightness of a collar on her, she’s was apt to do a quick turn and back out of her collar and then she’d become a runner. Eventually I got her out of that and could walk her on a collar, but until we got her over that backing out of her collar thing it was a harness for her. Plus if they pull a lot a collar can damage their throat and harness will not. For two of my dogs they didn’t care if the collar cut of their air they were going to pull hard, so again a harness was not going to be any worse on me than a collar and it was definitely better on them. The thing that worked best for my big girl who was a puller was a leash that hooked to a collar, went down her back, and then wrapped under her belly at her haunches and came back up through a loop. That was the magic bullet. No strain on her neck if she pulled, it put pressure on her haunches but didn’t hurt her, and she couldn’t back out of it. After getting use to that I could eventually walk her on a regular leash and she didn’t pull anymore. That was after I’d gone through every harness, leash, and anti pull device known to man. Wish I’d found that first, it would have saved me a ton of money.
My favorite is lifting weights and I often watch your videos on my iPad while I’m working out 🏋️
Nice!
Oh pretty compass! Do you have an Amazon link? Happy Birthday 🎉
amzn.to/3Y0RHbJ here you go!
You need to use the Disco Ball at the Shinning Party! Lol. I lift 3 pound weights everyday since 2012. I broke my arm/wrist in five places in September 2012. I lifted weights with physical therapy. I do 10 lifts a day. I don't strain my arm and it keeps my strength up. It sounds like you have a lot of options. I have been doing Yoga also. Just learning the Yoga. Have a good week. Happy Birthday!
Great ideas!
I have my printout. I went to our public library to get it.
I love libraries! Good thinking!
Ca't wait for my handmade invitation to the Disco Shining Ping Pong Dart Throwing Gel Printing Party 🎉
It will be fun!
