    From these 2 guitars i really prefer the A gold series A8 or A6. I have already tested these 2 models OC in a shop. So in this case i wont answer but nice video as always 👍😉

      Appreciate it! Yes, you prefer the Auditorium larger body shape, that's great! I have larger body guitars GA and they're indeed great all-rounders... For Fingerstyle and recording I still prefer the OM body shape...more focused, less muddy

    Thanks for the great review! Feels like the O6 has better bass and sounds more clear on the highs. It's a bummer, since I was looking to get an A8 (I like the light burst color very much haha). Any thoughts on their auditorium gold guitars?

      Welcome, glad you liked it! Well, the A8 should have a bit more boominess compared to the O8, as the A8 is a Grand Auditorium body shape. But it may not be as comfortable to you because of the big lower bout compared to the O8 or O6 models. Yes, the O6 would be my favourite of their Gold series, then I recently got a Limited Edition Cort Cut Craft that just blows away anything soundwise and feelwise. Also a great looker. You may found it discounted as I did, for the similar price of the A8, I would favour the Cort Cut Craft... It's a small Jumbo body shape but very comfortable due to it's multiple bevels on the body. Quite a work of art including the Fan frets that are awesome feeling

      @@77guitarts22 thanks for the quick and detailed response! The Cut Craft does indeed sound amazing and has a very original look. In general I like Cort's designs a lot and they all seem to sound very nice, so it's a tough choice hahah.

      @His0wnFoot Sure, indeed it's a though call. If you like a more classic design and very great appointments go with the Gold series, if you want something special you can't go wrong with the Limited Editions from Cort. For example the same specs on a different maker start from double the price...

    how does it fare against all solid martins and taylor? idk what to get in the future but im putting cort golds in my options.

      Definitely worth trying them. They have their own flavor, I would say you get a lot for your money with the Gold series. They sound kind of in between Martin and Taylor... More balanced sound I would describe. But the O6 has a very warm sound, and I would probably recommend it from this series. Or the A6 if you want a slight bigger guitar. The playability of the Fretboard is awesome, the frets are rounded and feel like butter, no sharp edge. Very nice guitars that you would pay at least double or triple on a Taylor or Martin for this kind of appointments.

      @@77guitarts22 Thnx for the reply. I currently have the cort earth 100 laminate back and sides. it sounds good enough but it is so muffled when i put a capo. I wonder if the cort golds will be a big upgrade in terms of tone and sound power.

      @@trollzubzero6614 Welcome, well this sounds like a problem from the setup you have with the Cort Earth 100. How exactly is it muffled? What action do you measure at the 12 fret? Maybe it's the capo... Anyways, for sure the Gold series sounds way better than the Earth series. I have the Earth 70 MH and had the Earth 80, 50 but sold those.

    Respect, I am thinking of choosing between Cort core oc mahogany or cort gold 06, you would be very helpful for advice, I will play at home without electronics

    • @77guitarts22
      @77guitarts22  11 місяців тому +2

      Thanks! Sure, my pleasure. I would definitely choose the Cort Gold O6. Why? Better all around built quality, torrified spruce top and more resonant due to the lack of electronics that you don't need anyways. And if you might need the electronics later, you could install a nonintrusive pickup like Journey Tek passive transducers UnderBridge. Hope this helps!

      Another thing to consider is the nut width, I see the Core OC has 43 mm nut but the Gold O6 has 45 mm nut... They also have a Gold OC6 that is Cutaway and 43 mm nut if you prefer the narrower neck... Depends on your hands ... If it's for strumming 43 is preferable but 45 for Fingerstyle

      @@77guitarts22 Hello, your advice is very valuable, I had a cheap guitar that was broken, I am a beginner and I made a big question about the choice, I like finger style, blues and as well as all kinds of solo playing, for a budget of 700$, I choose between guitars all solid wood like cort or ibanez, or some back and laminate sides of premium brands

    • @77guitarts22

      @youngcarp6061 For that money you can still find great guitars like Eastman AC122 for example or Faith, but Cort Gold is always a great choice also

      @@77guitarts22 Hello friend, I took your advice and looked for the cort gold 06, but it is out of stock here for the next few months, the only thing I found similar for that kind of money is the cort L300 V, so I am wondering if it is a good replacement for the gold 06?

    The O8 sounds almost as good as a Taylor GS mini, is that the case, or am I incorrect? Also what wood in back and sides?

    • @77guitarts22
      @77guitarts22  Рік тому +3

      In fact it sounds way better than a GsMini... It's a full size OM guitar but still very comfortable. It has Solid Pau Ferro back abd sides. It's All-Solid. Taylor GsMini is not all solid and feels like a small guitar, and has some intonation problems. The specs are also unbelievable for price on this Cort Gold OC8. I would choose this over GsMini anytime.

      @@77guitarts22 one last question, between the Gold O8 and Cort SFX MYRTLEWOOD , which one do you think is better?

    • @77guitarts22
      @77guitarts22  Рік тому

      I would still say Gold O8 or OC8. The Gold series sounds way better and will improve with time as it's All-Solid Woods. The Cort SFX Myrtle wood is only Solid Top. But it looks nice... For sound and quality ( better than the SFX in many details ) I would still go with the Gold OC8 or O8, O6, etc... Choose the Gold series and you'll not be sorry.
