“I don’t have that information, Dan”
… is the most underrated line in this entire exchange. Feigning lack of knowledge to one question to add integrity to the rest of the tale. Classic fortune teller trick.
I love the running theme in all these long ass porch/kitchen table conversations where at least twice Darry pipes up with a stupid question or comment and Wayne just grumbles under his breath about Darry pissing him off, hahaha
Fuck's sake Darry
Funnily sums up my mood these days.
Similar to the Donny and Walter dynamic during certain scenes in The Big Lebowski, although a little more subdued.
.
"Shut the f*ck up Donny" - Walter
Wayne with the subtle addition of star trek knowledge to his story as he spins a yarn. Daryl and squirrelly Dan didn't even question that part for some reason.
They're all going along with the story, because it's very entertaining. Much like ants on sea-doos.
He says "You'd cone it" with so much confidence. Fucking hilarious.
Dan carefully challenging the validity of Wayne's story is the funniest part.
It’s at least an hour between Disney and Cape Canaveral.
Allegedly.
Wonderin if Houston might chirp the astronauts....
its funny to me that Dan always enters any debate with Wayne witha small amount of trepidation and like reverence. Darry almost always comes at Wayne with full confidence and attitude lol
@@wandacomcy7159 it's not that far....😐
The outtakes have shown me that this scene was THE hardest thing for Keeso to get through without laughing.
No way i could do it, i couldn't keep from laughing talking as serious as he was, let alone keep a straight face lmfao
@@shekelsean The editor deserves an award for that one
I love that they were dying laughing in the outtakes haha
@@stevieb89 where can I watch these outtakes?
Link to the out takes please
Remarkable exchange; the writing and delivery are second to none. And let the record show this is exactly how most Friday night chats in Canada unfold
Oklahoma, Missouri, and Louisiana too. The commonality of country folk and the creative search for a good time are both mundane and special, I love it.
It's as if these guys are aware of how isolated they are to the rest of the world and because of that they assume technology outside of letterkenny has advanced to star trek levels already
Isolated? Pfft.
The sheer number of Star Trek deep references in this clip make me certain that Keeso or one of the other writers is actually a Trek fan.
So the writers of Letterkenny were letting on they were huge Trekkies the other day...
Yeager Loop, Alpha Quadrant, Galaxy class. Feel free to add any you heard but Wayne's whole story in space is nothing but Next Generation references.
Shuttle bay, star drive, saucer section, star fleet, wormhole, e.t.c.
There's quite a few
@@thfpt to be faaaaaair 🎶 wormholes are not specifically Star Trek, but in this context seems very likely.
@@DrendarMorevo to be fayaaah, that's true, but if it wasn't for STTNG, i wouldn't know wth a wormhole is.
Lol, they even mention the Picard maneuver in this clip.
I love letterkenny sogodamnmuch.
N that's whats I appreciates about em
I love it when Wayne tells stories because they are so fucking convincing. Like the Man In Black.
Canadian farmers talk about batching in space with unwavering confidence.
...after, like, 50 takes😆.
Look it up, the boys were havin' a bit of trouble being so nonchalant bout Bondar and batchin 😂
It's pretty funny.
Wayne's confident use of "wormholes" and "warp 10 maneuver" would convince me if I didn't know he was full of shit
As a Canadian farmer from the Listowel area I can say this is exactly how conversations like these go. With that exact amount of confidence
What's batching ?
Can confirm
I love how Wayne is describing the Starship Enterprise
"Nah she never expected to be floatin' around some spaceman's quarters tryin' to catch airborne ejaculate in plastic vacuum bag when she signed up for space camp."
"Nah they only tell you about omega particles in space camp."
FUCKING. GOLD.
One of my favorite lines in the whole series...."Fucking joke Starfleet", lol
'....and Houston thought it was hilarious." Of course they did, and eagerly awaited each and every presentation.
She was in her late thirties when she finally ventured into space, after first becoming a neurologist. I’d say she’s a great example of not letting your age keep you tied down to what you can or cannot do. I graduated US Army basic training at 29. Recently there was a soldier who was in his late forties, if I recall correctly. Pursue your dreams, never give up on yourself. Only you can hold yourself back.
Awesome comment and good advice
Good stuff
She was 47 when she went into space. This is 5 years above the average age of 42 as few people younger than 38 have been up there seeing as you need a very established career in either an air force or a science before you even get considered for the rigorous training program. She was accepted into the program in 1983 at 38 years old and was certified as an astronaut in 1986 with the expectation to be selected for a mission in either '87 or '88, sadly the Challenger disaster happened shortly after she completed her training and that meant all plans changed. She was however finally selected for a mission in 1992.
@@krashd Forty-seven is a hell of an age to be having to collect airborne ejaculate in a plastic vacuum bag. That's a young astronaut's job, that is.
Cause everybody's a fucking expert.
We'd all like to be a Wayne, but we're all just Dary's with a pinch of Squirrely D on a good day.
Wanna go?
@@jonanderson5137 Pitter patter
I think we'd all like to have a Wayne, too ;)
Naw, I'm Squirrly D through and through
Fine with me, I’d happy to be legen-Dary
Letterkenny is by far the best drug I have ever been addicted to.
I have watched this clip over and over again.
Comedy geniuses.
FERDA
1:24 The composition of this shot is gold. Just half their faces showing. Love it.
What episode and season is this??
"I don't have that information, Dan". Don't know why this cracks me up so badly 😂.
My compliments to the continuity team on this scene! I caught only one mistake, where the camera angle changes right when Dairy is taking a drag, and then suddenly his hand is on his knee again.
Having seen the outtakes, I'm amazed they were able to piece anything together at all! 😂
"Houston thought it was hilarious," that just slayed me.
I really want to know if Roberta Bondar has been made aware of this scene.
I live next to Cape Canaveral and I can confirm this story is 100% accurate.
I haven't laughed as much during a show as I have with Letterkenny. Maybe it's because I grew up pissing distance to the border....
There are people busting up in Antarctica about this show. It's hilarious.
1:22
"Yer fuckin pissen me off Darry"
Fucking died😂
The delivery of "float to the top of the cone..... and remain there" is, for some inexplicable reason, the funniest part of this whole conversation. Bondar for Prime Minister, eh.
Green paint on that porch could use some fixin'. Some chorin'.
Pitter Patter
It would depend on what angle you looked at it
I love how they talk about random stuff but always stays on topic
One of my absolute favorite scenes!
I really want to fly up to Canada and paint that deck. Same color, just fresh coat. Put a nice seal on the base and let that baby shine.
With a work ethic like that, you are always welcome, but first lets have a beer. Or 7.
You’ll need a power washer to strip the old paint, likely.
@@sboloshis1188 and? I would bring my own tools. You don't do that when you show up for a job? Sort yourself out there bud.
We don't use colors up here.
I feels as thoughs theres mights be somethings to be saids abouts theres being beauties in the passages of times.
What's missing is the number of takes they needed to complete this hilarious bit. They way Wayne simulates the "batch" floating without gravity by raising his hands up and down. The bloopers on this scene are epic.
Rosbertas Bondars. Fucking legend.
Bondar for fuckin’ Prime Minister
The whole story could credibly be called, the Riker maneuver.
I fucking laughed so hard I almost fell off the toilet. How can they do these shows without losing it
God bless you Roberta Bondars.
And my socks were forever re-named "space cones"
Thanks I hate it
Take my f***ing thumbs up...
You can take my FUCKING thumbs up and save the censorship for Janet Jackson's nipple.
Use tissues you degen. I’m sure you’ve got one in your purse, or your clutch.
I didn’t realize the boys were TNG fans. Game recognizes game.
I didn't know what "TNG" was until I saw the next commenter emoji. Lol
More like nerd recognizes nerd.
"it's not that far" struck a funny nerves in me's
They only teach you about Omega particles at space camp.
"gets a tap on shoulder and guess who.. ever heard of johnny cash?"
I love the sign above the door. Back door guests are best.
One of those old school gals from the Soo. Don't mess with them.
Bondar for Prime Minister!!
I didn't want to know this...but I couldn't stop listening...😫😯
Holy shit, this is up there with the Trailer Park Boys space scene.
I still do not know how they managed to get through this scene.
If you watch the bloopers. They didn’t.
This scene was taken like 83748399384 times and snip snapped to keep them straight faced lmao
Notice the camera cutting away various times.
These guys deserve so much more respect than they get
This is a different level of genious.
There is no O in genius, Genius.
@@SalvableRuin that's the genious of it all
Best scene from the best show 🔥
#3
"Ants on SeeDoos" - W,D,&D
#2
"We just sat there and talked... while she MADE a pizza" - Jonsey & Riley
#1
"Never kiss and tell" / "milking the prostate" - W,D,&D
This reminds me of a typical USMC Lance Corporal problem-solving exercise.
that explanation of the enterprise layout right there
Best show ever
Roberta Bondar is from my city Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
Why do I want Jim Dickens in every scene like this...
17 years later and I've seen it now!!
I saw this video and thought damn I'm 19 and this video is 17 years old. UA-cams golden age.
Harrison Ford on the Canadian space program "Those stories you've heard? They're true, all of them."
LetterKenny problems are the Universe’s problems.
I am so glad this was uploaded again🔥
Went full Trekkie….love it.
The shot of the group with the porch railing board across their face was a lovely detail.so hamfisted.
“i don’t have that information Danny “
“What’s his name?”
“He just left apparently”
Rolling..🤣
Wayne has massive drip on the plaid shirts
I love that Squirrelly Dan always says "allegedly" when he hears a story, until he thinks it's true .
The name alone is worthy enough to get on the ballot
WHY AM I ONLY LEARNING ABOUT THIS SHOW. Gold.
I freekin love this show ! 🇨🇦
Better than Ambien.
GET THE FUCK UP FOR BONDAR!!!!
THAT'S FUCKIN' ROBERTA BONDAR!!!!
Looks around the corner like some top secret shit is about to go down.
I was watching UA-cam the other day...
"Don't piss me off Darry" lol
This is really funny, and thats what I appreciates about you.
Take about ten percent off there.
@@dementededge3266 fucks sake
Get this guy a fuckin’ puppers.
Cobraaaaa!
"You fucking piss me off, Darry."
A live person Canadian version of king of the hill.
Yes this is exactly how I describe it to folks.
My favorite scene of the series
...dont fucking piss me off Derry. 😭😭😭
Did he say they "completed" the Yeager loop? BS only Chuck can do that.....
Chuck Norris?

Now when I listen to Countdown by Rush,

I’ll be thinking of astronauts batching.
Bondar was a portrait of class
She's got My Vote.
Is "My Vote" the name of a TV series or something?
Need a letter Kenny corner gas cross over now they have an animated show.
Letter Kenny and trailer park boys
Robertas Bondars fucking legend
How they got this scene filmed is beyond me 😂😂😂
I like the door sign "back guests are best"
Lol you can see Dairy trying not to laugh.
This is hard enough to get through...
Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, creeps in this petty pace from day to day. Out out brief candle, life's but a walking shadow that fills this petty pace to date. Oooowaahh!
Yeah
Floating Out There
To Mars
And Back There
Old Fashioned
The sad truth is NASA does in fact send up ships that they know aren't perfect because they made concessions for the military.
"Bondar did not..."
5:36 you can see him struggle to keep a straight face lol
I don’t know how anyone could get through this scene
These Trek references are killin' me.
I like how Wayne looked from left to right. 😂
Planet earth's finest space people
.."Houston thought it was hilarious".. pretty much sums up us Americans..
"F***in joke-star fleet.."
I’ve seen a blooper reel of this, I’m not sure how they ever got this filmed! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
