Absolutely. That’s specifically why I was drawn to it in the first place. The originality is so palpable. There’s Canadian humor but this somehow feels more home grown, like they’ve lived the stories they’re telling.
It all sounds like regular quips and guff ya hear in life. They are the same one line jokes you've heard many times. They just extend the joke into a full-blown conversation. They take all versions of one joke and slap them together as one.

Possibly the greatest 6:35 minutes of television ever recorded! As an Australian, I put the subtitles on when I was streaming the series so I could catch all the dialogue but watched this clip without & then you notice just how great the acting is, the little facial expressions & mannerisms. Stellar. When I re-watch it will be without the subtitles as I think I have gotten a hang of the lingo plus there is just so much gold in the little subtleties in their performances. So good!
If it makes ya feel any better, I'm Canadian AF and I still have a hard time with some of the rapid-fire quips. They make so many 2nd- and 3rd-level jokes that it's sometimes hard to keep up, even if you're completely immersed in the culture, as I am. Plus, being an Aussie - the uncontested world champions of slang - you get a ton of breaks on being unable to understand. If the script gets flipped, Canadians would score wayyyyyy worse than you probably do. 👍
We just got into Letterkenny this past year. I'm from the states, but I've been to Canada quite a few times, but this show is so phenomenal. We keep watching it over and over when we all need a good laugh. Every time we watch it we catch something new and laugh more than before. And the brilliance of Jared and his cast talents never ends. Now we have Shoresy. It's epic! ❤️

I think it would be more of wind blowing over the opening of an ammo can that has been banged and dropped 17 times lined with 4 day old sandwich meat ham that has been left out, to produce the sound it should make. And no one calls it pop...

Wayne may be one of the greatest characters ever. He displays every single emotion throughout the series and never really shows any expression at all. Just the physical comedy alone is hilarious. Reminds of a butch version of Napoleon Dynamite.

Now there's two considerations not made, one is to the cavernous nature making a sound more akin to blowing on an old jug, and of course you have the flaps. So I imagine it might sound a bit trying to play a jug like a trumpet, like *pbtbt-hooo* *pbtbt-hooo* *pbtbt-hooo*
