iMac Pro is my guess. "Scary fast" seems to be a Pro-centered idea. However, the existing iMacs definitely need an upgrade as well, so possibly M3 iMac, then M3 Ultra iMac Pro..?
@@GH0STST4RSCR34M MacPros are actually used in professional niche scenes like, programmers trying to upload a whole app. As a programmer myself I know that the MacPro M2 is not worth it for just pcie slots (again only meant for extreme work). But I'm looking forward to a good m3 macpro

My guess is a bunch of Mac get a M3 update and nothing else just a chip update. I hear the M-series chip have maintain there footprint so a chip change wouldn't be that hard to pull off. Also Apple's contract with TSMC they bought the whole years run of M3 chips and even with production issues that's a lot of chips that need to go into something.

I feel like it would make a lot of sense for them to announce an updated pair of AirPods Max with usb-c even if that is the only change. With them fazing out lightning it makes no sense for their most expensive accessory to still use it.

I am not sure what could be new since last month. Maybe an announcement to promote Christmas sales. Probably a software update would do it but that would not generate sales. When it comes to Apple, It's all about the money.
It isn't conventional but I think they will release the M3 Pro and Max chips in the 14 and 16 inch laptops along with a possibly larger iMac with these options. The way they have been doing their M series doesn't make a lot of sense - dropping the weakest chips first and then the more powerful/more expensive ones not long before jumping to the next iteration. No other tech manufacturers do this. NVIDIA releases the more powerful xx90 and xx80 cards and then the rest of the lineup gradually. Same thing for Intel and AMD - they release the more powerful graphics cards and processors first. With Apple getting on this schedule, it means professionals will get the fastest single core as well as multi core chips for a longer period of time meaning they won't be running chips with slower single core speed than the consumer stuff in just a few months after spending > $2000.

The true meaning of Scary fast. The M2 Pro and M2 Pro/Max 14" and 16" MacBook Pro life cycle ended Scary fast, in just 9 months.
I recall the January announcement had been scheduled for October 2022, then delayed because of supply issues.
