Awesome video man cool to see someone upgrade the forks and triple tree on a razor, not something i have seen yet. I just started making videos upgrading my mototec keep on that grind man one day we will be up there with all the big youtube names 🤘😎
If your not mechanically inclined and don’t enjoy figuring things out on your own then yes electro and co has already figured it out , if you don’t mind spending double the cost 👍
You should make a video about the rsf 650, I'm really considering on getting one. I was wondering what are your thoughts on it. Great video, 2 inches to 3 inches🤣🤣.
I think the RSF 650 is awesome !! The front forks being solid is the biggest thing that sucks, if I wasn’t into dirt riding as much as I am I would have gone that route , there strong and fun little bikes that can take a beating you should get one !!
I had a razor mx650 and I put zoom downhill mountain bike forks on the bike. I've got a video of it if you wanna check it out. The fork uses a 20mm axle but I was able to use the 12mm axle the razor uses. They sell axle adapters 20mm to 12mm. Or 15mm to 12mm instead of drilling your set screw.
@@voltmasterp8470 your forks looks pretty badasss tho all the gold looks good its a damn shame those brake rotors wouldn't fit. I figured you could use the 15 to 12mm axle adapters
You do know that you can get spring upgrade kits for Razors, right¿? It's basically a set of new springs, spacers and bolts that's makes the forks capable of holding an adult... It's almost a necessity whenever you do a rear shock upgrade but replacing the forks is a lot more work.
I don’t know anywhere to get bigger springs but guys on “modified razors for adults” on Facebook make sleeves from 3d printers and they sell them ,that takes all the slop and jiggle out of the forks and while they are apart you can put spacers/washers to stiffen the springs which will help a lot with more weight! Hope this helps !
@@voltmasterp8470 I got my front fork spring kit on ebay from a guy in northern Cali. It took about 40 mins to change. They are way stiffer and 7” long. Will worth it.
Thanks for the video, just ordered the brake kit. What size washers for the front axle and brake calipers? Did you need to replace the black rear spacers with washers too?
If you are not replacing the forks you don’t need to mess with the axel washers and I don’t remember the small washers size for brakes I bought a small plastic washer set from Walmart that has small and big variety
Brakes came in. They're not plug and play like I thought, finding they need customization to be operable. Did you use the 48mm spacer on the rear brake too?
What voltage and motor wattage are you running? I’ve hitting about the same speed on my sx500. I’m up in North County of SD. The whole razor upgrading was for my kids now became a hobby of mine. I have done the razor drift carts 48v 500 watt motor, Mx350 48v with 800 watt motors, SX500 96v with 3k motor and E300s with upgraded controllers . You can put a little more power to these rides and they are fun and can ride them anywhere. Fit it back of the car and go
@@voltmasterp8470 I run 14 tooth and 65 tooth sprockets now. Really helped keep the bike from trying to wheelie every time I took off. Smoother take offs and little higher too speed. What lake were you running around?
Yes I disclose in my video that they are no good , very cheap and thin , they technically have more travel and are a smoother ride but very flimsy and are one jump away from disaster
Would these forks work on a RSF650? I can't find any MX650 forks and I've been waiting on custom forks for over 2 months and it's not looking like I'm getting those so I'm looking for alternatives!
I purchased my battery on Amazon it’s a BRT but there reputation isn’t that good to be honest my friend ordered a 50ah and they sent him a 40, and they don’t have warranty or take returns even if it’s brand new in box , so I wouldn’t recommend BTR but mine has been great

whats the cost of all those upgrades?

Plastic bushings would work good for the slop in the front king pin for the rim
