Nice bass mate I have lost count the amount of times I have walked along those cliffs when we have been down pretty muck from Hurst Castle to Mudford Quay nice session though mate 👍
Nice little session Mark... Cracking bass .... Hitting Southbourne tomorrow in search of plaice.... I've rewatched your Portsmouth loop rig video and made a couple up to try for the first time.... Fingers crossed
Another entertaining vid, nice bit of fishing there. I've been using a small cool box i got from inexcess over the last year, about the same size as yours. I found that the royal squid 1lb box stayed frozen all day yet the dirty squid I had in plastic packs thawed out. I think the royal squid may have stayed frozen due to it being bigger better quality squid.
Nice vid, ever thought of getting an electric gillet/jacket to keep you warm. I have a milwaukee one and it's a complete game changer. Any any more live broadcasts with the monthy comps on the horizon again?
I have one for plugging into a motorbike but never thought of one for on the boat. Is yours battery powered or do you have to plug it into a 12v socket? Live broadcasts feel more like winter stuff and I am considering running them this year in the run up to Christmas. It would be nice to secure some sponsors and some bundles.
@@seaangling you could wire a bike jacket connector into your boat electrics and keep warm on any transit or use it in case you get cold or worst case fall in and need to rewarm if you are in a remote location
Really enjoyable video. I’ve had one of those Coleman cool boxes for several years and like you, found it’s a bit of a Tardis in terms of storing squid, crab and worm baits. Mine’s got a removable divider which can be useful sometimes to keep the sarnies separate from the crabs. Just wondering if you’ve had any joy in finding a casting coach, as I’m also in need of some help with my (poor) technique. Thanks again.
Hi John, I did get in touch with the Weymouth club but life has gotten in the way of me meeting up/attending. I’m still on the look out really for someone close if possible although it looks like I will have to travel.
I steamed down and round from hamble, about 50 mins and about £18-£20 in fuel. It would of took longer and cost more to trailer, launch, park etc. My little boat is economical and quick, I love it.
@@seaangling I thought so .. I have started to launch from the mercury marina .. juts up the the river from you . Think I may have to try that way .. I have been in hayling for a few years and fished eastern silent.. so now trying the westen end 👍👍🤙🤙
Great little rod bought my son one when he was 4 went to France and he landed a 23lb carp. He slept well that night.
I bet that carp sparked some excitement. 👍🏻🎣
Cheers for the video Mark nice and relaxed session mate. 👍👍👍🎣🎣🎣
I was a tired boy to be honest which is why I fell asleep.
Nice to see few plaice . The plaice this year all seem to be sub 1lb on the southcoast
I’ll have another try this weekend along with chasing some of my species goals for this year.
Nice one Mark! Looks like an excellent mark that could produce some good Fish when it warms up a bit! Stay safe & well - Dave. 🎣🎣👍👍
Cheers Dave, the season is winding up slowly and I’ve had my first hounds from the boat. 🎣
Another great video Mark well done 👍
Cheers buddy, very much appreciated. I think the season is due to start livening up and I’m looking forward to some new species/methods for this year.
What a beautiful boat you have mate 👌👌👌 I have a sib currently but one day I’d love to have something similar to yours
They are popular boats but like all boats they take time to keep up together and of course cost. A SIB is a good way to get about for fishing. 👍🏻
Cracking little session, love the light tackle plaice fishing they always feel way bigger than they actually are 👍
That little 20 gram lure rod will be perfect for the bream and made that plaice feel like a totally different fish. 🎣👍🏻
Cracker of a day Mark. Will check out the cool box. Anything to save space. Keep it Reel. Take care
Space is at a premium on a small boat but it is surprising the amount of bait it can hold.

It is a beautiful area and has loads of marks to fish. The hounds will be upon us soon 😉
@@seaangling hoping to be down at the end of May

Black lug tipped with a tiny piece of squid seems to work well atm.

Interesting as I think denser blocks do take longer to thaw. The cardboard box it comes in might increase the insulation.
Found a gap in the weather then? I've got two of those little colman boxes. One has a small chopping board glued to the lid.
Short window of opportunity and a gentle start to the season.
great video mate keep up the good work 👍👍👌👌
Cheers Stephen, very much appreciated. 🎣🦈😉

Great video mate , glad my plaice rigs did the business for you mate 😊
It was good stuff and certainly out fished the plain rig.

Hi Mark another great and informative video! Where did you get your pre made bejazzled plaice rigs?
The link and a discount code is in the description. 👍🏻
Well done mate

Top film Mark as always …
