I am an American, I am 66yrs old. I grew up in the 70's and I have traveled the road that you have traveled. I have smoked my share of cannabis, I have done my share of drugs. I have often said, "that if you can eat it, drink it or snort it, I have tried it." Nothing to be ashamed of, we have been there and done it, and survived the experience. I have found that we can offer a lot of advice to keep some of the younger ones away from the road we have traveled. I appreciate you opening up to us, I could tell by your voice, that it was personal and hard for you to talk about. But it hasn't changed the way I feel about your channel. I enjoy the realism you bring. Just like the walk you took us on and the secrets about you, you shared. I enjoy the cruises you take us on. Keep up the good work and keep the faith. Looking forward to the next one. Peace out.
I have PTSD too, it started after covid, but I got put on Paxil. It took a year to work, but solitary walks helped me too. I like Wales, dont know if you can sail down there but around Conwy, Llandudno and in the South Laugharne is beautiful.
@kittyroo-x4p I've tried all sorts for it but haven't found anything that works well in pill form. As I said the medical Cannabis worked for a while until it didn't. The lifestyle definitely helps. Not being around too many people helps a lot with the anxiety and moving around and walking helps by not giving me time to be super depressed. I actually was in Wales earlier in the year just hadn't started my channel at that point. Llangollen was beautiful, but it was quite a bit of hard work getting up there. I will definitely be returning in a couple of years. I hope your not suffering too much as I know how hard it can be. Thanks for watching and your kind comment.
@@philrudkin Hi, Maybe try Paxil, it comes in liquid drops, I started with 10 drops per day then as things got better after about 6 months, I started to taper off and now I have stopped completely. I must say that I personally had no side effects, but I kinda did when I tried to stop too quickly. When I got diagnosed with PTDS I had it combined with my OCD and anxiety spiralling out of control. Without Paxil I would probably have been hospitalized because I got anorexic. I think cannabis would have made me feel spaced out /mega munchies. Anyhoo, thats what worked for me, but we are all different and our brains work differently too. Nature is the greatest healer, and having a kitty by your side is pretty cool too. 😺

Loving the vids mate!
A little bit different from the other narrowboat channels I've been watching. Really enjoyable! Keep up the good work :)
