The Maestro Invader Distortion is a high-gain, all-analog modern distortion pedal with a heavy, aggressive, dominant sonic character and loads of rich harmonics. With the Maestro Invader Distortion, users can generate a wide range of distorted sounds. The 3-knob control layout gives users intuitive control over Gain (distortion amount), Tone, and output Level, with more than enough volume on tap to easily exceed unity gain when you want to.

I could definitely see this working as a substitute for a fuzz pedal or a way to have a fuzz tone that stands out but I don’t think they should be advertising it as modern high gain distortion

Are you using a flanger in the mix? Maybe it's just a phone speaker thing?
Kinda - there's a little MXR EVH Phase 90 Phaser thrown in there...
With this one, the looks more than make up for the fact that it sounds like ass. So scooped! But worth sounding bad for if you look at the graphics.
