Well done. I enjoyed your banjo playing. An overnight camping video is in order I think. Don't forget to share that you have a new video out with your friends at Huntwa...thats where I found your channel.
Hey Sandberm how ya doing? I will have to invite those gentlemen to the fire. Yeah I feel like roughing it in the woods for a couple days. Refill your popcorn! 😀🍿🍿
Great little film Kev. Surrounded by nature with a campfire cracklin' and some gentle clawhammer banjo for the soul. Your deer pals are a delight. Thanks for a visit to your homestead. Happy Trails. 🌲
Stop by any time, Pine. And bring your instruments! I haven't picked strings by the fire enough lately. It sure was nice. Cheers from our homestead to yours!
@@WestForkWoodsman Thanks! I've missed your videos and was happy to see a new one on my suggested! The clawhammer sounds great! Best to S. and your pup!
This is so peaceful. Wonderful banjo playing and a crackling fire. Can life get any better?! We hope to have a little cabin in the woods soon. Love the chat at the end. God bless! ❤
Thank you for stopping by, TWW! Cabin life is pretty nice, and I hope you find the perfect place. I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and welcome you to come back anytime! God bless!

Kevin! It's great to see you again. I'm from Mellow camper channel anyways been doing great over here keeping ourselves busy. But I feel ya' been itching for going outdoors 2022 and beyond has been very busy! I hope to see more videos from the West Fork Homestead!
Great to hear from you Ernie. Glad to hear that you are doing well. I definitely will be making more videos, since I really enjoy connecting with you all. Do you have any new trips planned? Videos?

What a nice surprise this was and it’s great to see you again Kevin! Been wondering how you’ve been doing so far this year. You sure make some sweet sounds on the banjo I really enjoyed that. Thanks for the video and hope to see another one soon! Take care brother.
@@WestForkWoodsman everything is pretty good here Kevin. Etsy shop did pretty good last year but a little slow so far in 24. How are things on your end?
@@WestForkWoodsman Glad everything is good there and already looking forward to the next video. Give Tig a pat on the head from me and y’all have a great evening!
I loved the banjo. It has been one of those el Nino years so here in the UK it has been relatively mild and wet, my sister in Edmonton, Alberta, has had it very cold but with very little snow which might cause drought problems in the summer. They say we are going straight into quite a deep el Nina and that will probably mean a bad hurricane season for those places that get such things and, of course, here in the UK we often get the tail ends of the hurricanes as deep depressions a few days after they leave the east coast of the USA. Amazing to think all this is caused by movement of water in the Pacific Ocean :-) Gotta say I loved your tip about "waxed paper" (we'd call it greaseproof paper) when using fatwood and a ferro rod to light a fire, tested it myself this afternoon and it worked well.
Greetings from this side of the pond. I've never heard the term greaseproof paper, but I like it. I sure hope we don't get drought this year. The snow is gone already. Thanks for tuning in, my friend. Happy trails!
Howdy Kevin, good to see you , been a minute. Been a weird winter here in the northeast as well but we still have some snow on the ground and this morning is the coldest it’s been all winter at 1 degree above zero. Hard to believe we have not had a single day below zero all winter. Love the sounds of a banjo. Those deer are sure not shy are they ? Anyways hope see to more of you all here on the tube. Take care friend and God bless
Hey Don. Those deer are our usual gang. It's mama and her twins Fuzzy & Wuzzy. Mama was born on our place, and stays here most of the time. They keep the bird feeders empty! Still hoping for some heavy spring snow to fill up the mountains. We sure could use it. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!
GREAT to see another video from you. Enjoyed the performance and look forward to more. I wouldn't mind a bit more snow, especially up high and I hope for a mild drama free summer. Do you have garden plans this year?
Great to hear from you Kirby Creek. Yeah, we need snow bad. Lots of rainy days may be a consolation. We're hoping for a wet summer to keep the fires away. Yep, we're growing a garden. Sarah did a ton of canning last year, and it's good eating. I can't wait to see your trail cam report. Your carvings are looking great!
Wow I am impressed indeed and gosh where you live is bliss. You did a great job the banjo sounds natural with a great tone..👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿🪕🪕🪕
Thanks for stopping by, my friend. That tone ring really helped bring the banjo to life. Thanks for the inspiration!
