It takes a lot of guts to take the risk, I know;) It takes some time, but just try to keep your eye on the end goal. 2 words of advise....SOCIAL MEDIA! That worked for me with word of mouth. I have never paid for advertising. Post everything, engage with comments and customers, be approachable. But don't let yourself be taken advantage of. Know your worth;)

Do you always crumb coat on room temperature cake layers? I’ve always been discouraged due to the crumb fall out, but that limits me from using the simple syrup I’d like to use.
I typically crumb coat at room temperature. If you think about it, that is what a crumb coat is for. To lock in the crumbs:) but it may depend on the recipe you are using. Some are more crumbly then others. You could simple syrup and then chill before the crumbcoat. I don't see why that wouldn't work.

Do you think these embroidered flowers would look good in some other color like a lighter pink? or white color would be the best???? And do you mind if I make the cake just same as yours? Definitely would tag you and give you the credit. Also, do you think this technique would work with Swiss meringue as well???? Thanks a lot for the tutorial 🧡
Hi! Bas relief is basically a raised pattern or design. Almost 3d;) And yes to everything else;) I think this looks good in almost any color really. I just happen to like the softer look of pastel colors. I absolutely don't mind if you copy. Thank you for asking;)

HI! I would share, but since we use this recipe at work I don't want to step on my bosses toes. It is my recipe but I need to respect her with it:) I will say that WASC does have a very good strawberry recipe that uses fresh or frozen strawberries:)

And swiss would be great. You don't need a crusting for this as long as you let it firm up in the fridge before painting the gold accents.
