I kinda like that he left it open-ended but I had hoped he would tie a few more loose ends up before the end. I'm sorry to hear you're a little disappointed ☹️ Can I ask what disappointed you about it?
I just wish that Deku could of had a happier ending, or been more visibly recognised for all he'd done in the war, rather than seemingly losing touch with most of his classmates. 😭 However, I still did like the ending quite a lot. Horikoshi really knows how to write/finish character arcs and development.
Oh really? I thought his ending was pretty happy! I mean, Katsuki and his classmates pooled together to make him his Batman suit lol! I think he was recognized with a statue (the kid he talked to certainly seemed to know him) and I don't think he really lost touch with his classmates. I think they all just got busy like people do, and they couldn't hang out as much as they did when they were living together in high school, which makes sense to me. But I can see where you'd want more interactions and more proof that Deku was more visibly recognized, for sure! He certainly does know how to write character arcs and development! I just wish we'd gotten a more definitive answer to the "control your heart" aspect. I really thought there was gonna be more to that... But it probably wrapped up and I just didn't notice XD;
I think ending was really good, because in the end Izuku became someone he needed when he was in the middle school, primary school and kindergarten. And also a hero too, just like he wanted to be. If you think about the first episode of the anime, Im sure we all could see it easily that none of the teachers actually tried to help him. But even so, his second choice of future profession was being a teacher. So that he'd be able to help all those children. I think it's really cute
