this is literally one of my favorite amvs ever i can't believe there aren't more likes on it. the song choice, the clips put together, the haunting last few seconds of izuku & bakugou pre-war juxtaposed with bakugou dead on the battlefield. this is so well-made and i love it so much

Who knows that Tordora trend of "He would leave everything behind for me! His hopes, his dreams, EVERYTHING!" This song, their relationship, and the audio give the same vibe. In the context of the show, that audio is true. The amount of times Izuku has thrown away his life, his future in UA, his life, his power for Bakugo is WAY more than anyone else. If Baku does like Izuku and Izuku likes him back I can GUARANTEE that Izuku would throw everthing away for Bakugo, and vise versa. This song is the same way. He spent his whole life looking up and following Bakugo because he admired him despite Bakugo baking it he'll to work with him until late into season 3. He followed him despite being dragged through he'll and he did everything he could to get closer to him. I don't hate any other Deku x Someone ships but BakuDeku make the most sense. It was supposed to be cannon, it is the most developed, there's so much between them that's not between Ochaco or Toga and him. I am a KamiDeku shipper bc I think it's fun, I don't think there's much there between them either but its cute and fun to ship. Oh, and this is only what Deku has done for Bakugo summarized. I can do on for HOURS about why I think BKDK is better than any other Baku x Someone and Deku x Someone ship. The rest are cute or are fun to ship (if they make some sense like Izuocha or Kamideku but Mizuku or Baku and Mineta are just weird) but they don't really have too much there between them like BKDK does.

This is probably my favorite from you so far. I can see all the time spent crafting a narrative that biases toward heavy emotional moments. 3:15-3:22 was a really solid moment where the video and the song really merged. Looking forward to more :)!!

So, so beautiful!!! I was so excited when I saw this vid in my feed :) Also, have you seen the offiial manga ending? I'm honestly not sure how to feel about it, tbh a little disappointed

I kinda like that he left it open-ended but I had hoped he would tie a few more loose ends up before the end. I'm sorry to hear you're a little disappointed ☹️ Can I ask what disappointed you about it?
I just wish that Deku could of had a happier ending, or been more visibly recognised for all he'd done in the war, rather than seemingly losing touch with most of his classmates. 😭 However, I still did like the ending quite a lot. Horikoshi really knows how to write/finish character arcs and development.
Oh really? I thought his ending was pretty happy! I mean, Katsuki and his classmates pooled together to make him his Batman suit lol! I think he was recognized with a statue (the kid he talked to certainly seemed to know him) and I don't think he really lost touch with his classmates. I think they all just got busy like people do, and they couldn't hang out as much as they did when they were living together in high school, which makes sense to me. But I can see where you'd want more interactions and more proof that Deku was more visibly recognized, for sure! He certainly does know how to write character arcs and development! I just wish we'd gotten a more definitive answer to the "control your heart" aspect. I really thought there was gonna be more to that... But it probably wrapped up and I just didn't notice XD;
I think ending was really good, because in the end Izuku became someone he needed when he was in the middle school, primary school and kindergarten. And also a hero too, just like he wanted to be. If you think about the first episode of the anime, Im sure we all could see it easily that none of the teachers actually tried to help him. But even so, his second choice of future profession was being a teacher. So that he'd be able to help all those children. I think it's really cute
(Though I wish we could see that "Hisashi Midoriya" 💀)

That was soo cool. I love how you draw the parallels between Shinobu and Giyuu with their older sisters and their concern over Tanjirou. I also appreciate how it felt like the POV switched as well, like how the first verse and chorus was Giyuu's view while the second was Shinobu's, that was awesome! Loved when the screen split between them too. Nice work!
