you can play starliege siefert for ladd lord. normal seifert, get rid of lvl 8 in hand for evaporation, summon evap by banishing starsource, starsource effect modulate siefert into lvl 8, evap effect for ladd lord It's what I played in my bystial metalmorph deck

Although it was an ordeal of a match, I loved playing against Bystial Horus in the Extra Zero event. Just pure, unadultered Control deck. I don't remember what I was playing at that time, but we were on par with each other, the duel lasted way too long and we eventually reached the tiring point of the match, so I took the win.

Everytime play against someone who goes into TY-PHON, it almost always loses them the game. It's a good card, but it's only good in a simplified gamestate against certain boards.
This, lol. Typhoon is great if you have at least 3 other back up interruption, so trap deck like paleo and lab is great. But if at the end of your combo, you summon typhoon, you will lose almost all the time. That card doesnt do anything to the low atk meta. The only shit it do is spin baron.
I have been maining this deck in TCG and it's cracked with the Metal Morph Red Eyes Full Metal stuff. You get an omni negate that's extremely sticky and benefits the grind game with the burn effect.
@ylwavy seyfert isnt great if they gonna negate for searching lubelion or dark end. If you gonna search for a card is better searching for a lv4 like an extender in a deck like this generally. Dragonmaid are better normal summon like he did at the end of the video even tough the deck sucks against decks that arent playing dark or light monsters. But yes dark end is way better.
I'm hoping they come out with the fiendsmiths which should be next set. Because you know the fiendsmiths are all going to be UR, so the metalmorph stuff will hopefully be lower rarity
the generic pendulum links are actually a huge problem, I think everything within the Vaylantz engine is super cool design but the generic "pendulum extra deck slop" turns anything pendulum does into a degenerate strategy. even Melodious, an incredibly cool deck, has been used primarily as an engine to fuel these bullshit pendulum FTK gameplans
To answer that one guys question, if a mikanko attacks a yubel nothing happens, the yubel has no attack so mikanko has nothing to reflect and since the mikanko has no attack nightmare pain doesn't do any effect damage.

As a Vaylantz enthusiast, playing the deck properly is way better and way cooler than that cringe match we had in the 18 minutes mark. I barely know the person and I already hate their existence, go learn the better version of it.
Bystial Control is the Sky Striker of Dragon decks. Neat to play as a standalone, fun to shove into other decks, and able to pull off all kinds of crazy nonsense no one would ever expect in the hands of someone competent.
Now play It with dragonmaid and The fusion + duality, It is really Nice, specially with The khaos dragon that pops 2 and The dark end evaporation dragon to help with some plays

In the other hand, Bystial is at 1-1-1-1-3 at the OCG. Bystial is basically a handtrap deck and the existence of Maxx C and friends made it easier to draw them.
To be honest I would say in a format with maxx c and fuwa, if you also have the max metalmorph cards, this deck would perform pretty nicely none the less. Low commitment helps a lot and right now the dark end evaporation dragon doesn't work as well without the max metalmorph cards. This video just doesn't do it enough justice without those cards imo. Edit: oh other guys responded with this already haha, but my take about dark end evaporation still stands :P
1. It’s less weak to the mulcharmys 2. It plays less bricks than standard dragon link 3. It got some more toys with the LADD cards 4. It has more space for non engine without going up to 50 or 60 cards 5. It’s just a different play style altogether, one a lot of people find more fun than full combo
