Riu Plaza Manhattan Time Square - quick hotel review

Great location - half a block from Time Square , 8 minutes to Rockefeller Center.
Modern good size rooms - higher rooms have great views!
Buffet breakfast- big selection, busy but they manage it very well. You can book it with your room or purchase on site.
Elevators are fast.
Close to Subway stations.
Check in and check out was quick. Complete check in through the Riu app.
Smaller gym on the -1 level.
Nice little lounge area with drink and food options on the main floor.

Hey! Was planning on staying soon and wondering do they charge a security deposit?

Hi there. We stayed for 3 nights and they put $150 hold on my card. I’m not sure if $150 is a standard or they do $50 per night. Hope this helps:)
