Every time I watch you play this song by Usher it’s just amazing I’m back to practicing 58 and still being inspired maybe make a follow up video of you playing the song in full and breaking down some of the chords wd help alot

There is an entire album featuring Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway duets. You may also recall Nick Ashford and Valerie Simpson, famed husband and wife songwriters and singers especially during the Motown era.
This song is definitely a throwback to the 70s duets. Don't forget Ashford & Simpson. But the song is so beautifully composed and their voices blend so perfectly. Everything was a masterpiece, including the video. Tastefully done.

I appreciate those awhile can actually play an instrument. I have played drums for 45 years. The skill required to be proficient and relevant is very difficult. You have a different ear when you hear music. It very critical. So I appreciate your views on the subject matter.
One of Usher's underrated skills is harmonizing. I always found his note choices when harmonizing so stunning. He did it way back with Alicia Keys' duet version of If I Ain't Got You, and now he's doing it with H.E.R.

Dayseeker has released isolated vocals/a cappella tracks for their last two albums (Dark Sun and Sleeptalk) and every single one is incredible. Already Numb, Starving to be Empty, Crash and Burn, Neon Grave, Midnight Eternal, Paper Heart, Crying While You're Dancing, Parallel...I can't pick a favorite. Rory's vocals are perfection and hearing only his voice takes so many of these songs to another level.
I need to learn this on the piano haha I feel like they could take this song so many ways, musically, if they perform this live. Extending it in a bluesy/jazzy route would be amazing to hear. Especially since they could add more vocally.
