my 2 year warranty expired 4 months ago. and low and behold, my gauge is doing the same thing!
It's ridiculous that these gauges fail after a couple years. Typically right after the warranty on the mower ends. I hope you called and complained to John Deere like I did.
John Deere must spend a lot of money on testing, everything break just after warranty runs out. No more green for me in the future.
It’s absurd. Apparently the gauge has a non-replaceable sealed battery rather than a hardwired connection to the main battery. Scam city.
John Deere is a crap company. The gauge needs to be replaced every couple of years. 120.00 to order from deere site.
