Also, it introduced me to one of the best quotes I’ve ever read which perfectly encapsulates the fatuity of all of the squabbles and conflicts when viewed through the lens of history ‘ Then these years and their players passed away. As though they all had been merely dreams.’

People have also been fighting over many places all over the world spanning different continents. Jerusalem is not particularly violent compared to Central Europe, the tribal ethnic wars in Africa and north America
