I was in this hotel recently. During my check in at the kiosk, The Food Factory gave us a promo for 28/adult $ 19/children. The normal price is 48/person i think.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion, as for food factory, we would find that for the price we paid it was just right as hotels in genting generally don’t come with breakfasts, food wise comparable to a 4 star hotel buffet breakfast.

RM42 for something which is comparable to a typical cafeteria food?

Hi great video on the food they have! Can I just check if you have any idea when is the best time to visit Genting when there isn’t many people there/off-peak period? Planning to go during early/mid Jan next year but afraid it will be too crowded 😢

Hi, generally just avoid school holidays period for Malaysia and Singapore. Weekdays and during non school holidays period would be off-peak as well. January next year might be crowded due to Chinese New Year holidays happening on 22nd to 24th January.

@@thebiannualtravellers Ok thanks a lot! Also just curious on your opinion, I know it’s subjective but is it better to depart from Singapore to Genting via coach in the early morning(6am-9am) or night(8pm-11pm) cause I saw in your other video you departed from Lavender at 10pm.

@@chagallbridgit6963 Hi, i would recommend night only if you have limited days in Genting, as it can be quite tiring. Day bus would be better as there are more sights to see along the way, the bus would reach around hotel check in hrs (2-3pm).

Hi i appreciate most of your transport videos. However after i watched this video, i felt compelled to point out some stuff and give a suggestion. For example at 8:30, the person doing the scooping of food reminds me of those young girls who dont know how to stirfry in a pan, they would shift the food around in the pan like they are afraid to hurt the food. The chicken on top was dry and the person could have dug deeper to reveal whats underneath, in the end a dried up piece was taken along with a scoopful of oil. Aesthetically its not satisfying to watch when someone dont know how to use the cutlery. Chinese say 大方一点. Wanna scoop just scoop properly, wanna cut, cut with confidence, dont be afraid.

    The food is quite junk.
The air is filthy and "not ventilated"
    The place is "Feels Oily".
Rather pay for bit more to eat elsewhere with ventilated air and the food are more decent.
