I loved the third home, smaller but with a nice layout. I loved the privacy of the backyard if you are to put a pool you won't ever worry about neighbors plus it was the most affordable.
Things modern house hunters would complain about: Carpet, no granite countertops, no stainless steel, any cabinet color other than white, the brass on the fireplace and fixtures, etc. So funny how these things weren’t considered a nuisance back then.
1) Her decorated home looks like a default home in the sims. 2) They honestly would've saved a lot more money just doing minor renovations such as redoing the cabinets. 3) They're looking for more space but have wasted space?? Most people want a large master bathroom, and that formal family room?? Make that the playroom. People really take things for granted /:
The first house on a cul de sac was a good choice. It only needed cosmetic changes such as a lot of paint and flooring. The 2nd house was charming but the back yard on a slope was dangerous. Nice home and Nice family.
NO WAY less than $150,000 ! WOW The unused formal living room could be a playroom, and child needs to be taught the difference between playtime and sleep time no matter the size of the home they live in
I knew it was the 1st house right after they showed them looking at the 2nd house, where she already had a haircut and looked completely different also lost weight.. so much emphasis on the quick market. So I knew from right then that they must have put down an offer on the 1st one :P
All the episodes are faked. The owners have already closed on their "choice" house. You can always pick out which one they bought because it is always the empty one.
Why did the realtor take them to #2. Completely unsuitable for the dogs and their young children, unfenced entirely. Kari a great upload even complete with after they moved in. Excellent!
I'm going with #1 for them My edited comment. Yeah! I'm 2 for 2 finally. I knew #2 was out due to the back yard. NO way of fixing that slope. #3 the 2 family areas. I knew they wanted to get away from that. They were both such "YES" people or "This is nice" to everything, they were hard to read, but they were very nice. Good luck to them!
Oh dear! I'm sorry, but the house they are in is plenty of room! Not using the main living room, then turn it into a playroom!! Three bedrooms is all you need, since they are little yet! To Picky!! What is with her "colors"?!
@@kimberlykidd3755 that's true Kimberly. She was was playing around anyway. Geez! Can nobody take a joke or kidding these days! (not towards you, towards the originator of the comment).
This is one of the most boring shows in this series. First of all they had few complaint about their original home with plenty of unused space. Next, they make odd complaints regarding paint and decorating styles. And I guess the last remark about the size of a kitchen drawer lost me!
I would make the formal living room into a play room if they dont use the room. That green color is nasty! It dosent fit the space. It's to dark. That would be good for maybe an accent wall. There are so many other great colors. Why that color??
I would NOT describe that as 'decorating'. Not by a long shot. But to each's own. Carry on Vintage House Hunters!!! Carry on!!
What a wonderful video, with everything flowing in sequence. A job well done

The husband is smart, funny and positive.
My dads pretty cool

Nice family liked that they showed the changes they made to the house very neat and cozy hope they get their little girl

I thought the current house was good.
The formal living room could be kids play room
Love older house hunter episodes
When did this episode first air on TV??? This must be an OLD episode from maybe 10+ years ago or something.
When Suzanne Whang hosts the show and the wife is not obsessed with stainless steel appliances, it means the episode is from the 1990s!
omg don’t get me started on the stainless steel appliances obsession!
I think it must be older as well...I miss Suzanne
This is an older episode from 1998. Suzanne Whang was the first host, she died 2019 or early/mid 2020.
Thanks for the update
You made best choice it's the best house of three and it's brick
I knew it was the 1st house right after they showed them looking at the 2nd house, where she already had a haircut and looked completely different also lost weight.. so much emphasis on the quick market. So I knew from right then that they must have put down an offer on the 1st one :P

bingo
She lost weight and the realtor gained weight
Libby Ral 😂😂😂😂😂
I like their two dogs!!!
Why did the realtor take them to #2. Completely unsuitable for the dogs and their young children, unfenced entirely.
Kari a great upload even complete with after they moved in. Excellent!
RIP Suzanne Whang (September 28, 1962 - September 17, 2019)
ladyyuna2000 who died??
How did she die?!
Did she die?
I was so sad to hear that Suzanne died. I really liked her on the show, but she left a long time ago. She had cancer I think. 😢
Wow its been so long I forgot HGTV HH had an actual host before they went with voice overs
It's great to see & hear her voice again, Suzanne Wong!! She was House Hunter!!
I was on this episode btw
Really wish I could see what the house turned out ! Amazing choice
If you go to 20:00 you can see what the inside of the house turned out like.
Kari Jelsma going through the comments and telling people I was on this show is the greatest thing I’ve ever done
@@andrewscrogins9227 How old are you now? Did your parents have a baby girl? Are all of you still living there?
I'm going with #1 for them

More stuff, more room. More room more stuff !!
I love this couple. Most people on this show are obnoxious. I have to say, they rocked the remodel as well. Wow, great colors.
Wow thank you my parents appreciate that
Great yard for dogs and kids
she thinks shes an interior designer lol, its paint its easy.
If shes proud of her designing ummm what did she design? She picked a paint color?
Hey don’t talk about my mom like that lol
Nice updates!
Was the realtor in her bathrobe at the second house?
They have cute kids, but the dad is a true country bumpkin.
what's wrong with being country?
I love him for it.
Yea not nice lol (look at my name)
Less than 3 mins in and my solution is to have less stuff. I can't believe they want a bigger house to store toys
Yeah..... Sbd yet they had a formal living room which could work for kids
The woman is too brave.
she complains about the color but she can change that :L
one of the easiest changes to make.
And we’ve changed it like 20 times she can’t make up her mind
This looks like a reallllly old episode lol

Don't understand the bathroom attached to the kitchen ! Eeek!
17:10 Cringe moment when the wife said "for when you give me that girl". Hahahah
well, the man does determine the sex of the kid.....
@@kimberlykidd3755 that's true Kimberly. She was was playing around anyway. Geez! Can nobody take a joke or kidding these days! (not towards you, towards the originator of the comment).
Good choice 💞
The house cost 130- three years ago but cost 225 today? Wtf?
so it's just paint on the 1st house
young kids and ponds don't mix-even fences don't guarantee safety.
that's where parenting comes in.....
We ended up fine btw I am one of the kids in this video
@@andrewscrogins9227 that is amazing

I couldn’t agree more my parents were very boring people
Nice people and lovely home. =)
I wonder did she get that little girl?
1 for them but I like #3 for me!
Good choice!
Video kept locking up.
Her decorating is terrible, but it's a good family house.
Jessica P. This episode must be years and years and years old
it is awful.
She's bragging about her decorating and I was like wtf too lol it looks like a old woman's house
this episode is from 1990!
does the realter have a bathrobe on?
Refreshing they didn't remark about no stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, I don't like stainless steel personally.
Those little boys have probably graduated from college now.
Is the pushy sales lady wearing her dressing gown

I don’t think she improved anything but the floor
How the wife lost weight and changed so much between house one and two 😳
How many times she said 'i like' and 'i don't like'.. just look at the house and stop complaining on everything you see
are there gators in those waters? yikes!
Title says island hunters? Deceiving 😟
Why did they paint more of that dark ugly green?!
She's not a very good decorator, IMO...the entire house just looks cluttered and meh...
For the mid 2000s that looks pretty standard
Hey my mom works hard
I hope they had the girl they wanted.
She makes me puke
Kathy Miller does she make you puke cause she looks like someone in those 90s commercials
You are better off in St Johns County....
She really wants a girl
Style???? 😒
The couple were as boring as the houses and agent
