I just bought the drawer too, the handle rattled a bit so I shove a rag in there. The cutting board it useful to put made sandwiches etc for the kids to grab or other light stuff. I also used the factory seat bolt holes in a landcruiser to fasten it with out drilling additional holes in my car.

The handle on ours seems tight enough but the odd thing is that the draw doesn't seem to have a way to stay locked in the open position. That means if the 4x4 is facing downhill, the draw always wants to close itself. Not sure if they are all like this or if it is just ours.

I have 4wd supacentre drawers in my other car and they don’t latch open either.

I had a set of them drawers for my Kimberley trip, keep an eye on all the internal fasteners (or Loctite them) as we had a bunch come lose, also the locking mechanism is not great and failed but that was the one we had the fridge on. We never used the table either, far too flexible for my liking.

Considering the price, I don't really expect too much of them. I guess as long as they don't fall apart they will do :)

    Interesting video mate
With the oven there great have the same one just keep an eye on the plug mine melted and swapped to Anderson plug no worries now
Also the door comes open sometimes on rough roads I have not adjusted this situation yet but keep an eye on it the mounting brackets are great also
I wrap up stuff in foil in the oven but pizza slices need grade proof paper the foil sticks to the cheese
    Cheers

After the testing we have done with the oven the plug was already showing signs of melting so I changed it for an Anderson plug today :) There will be an update video about the plug in a couple of weeks.

Great vid someone needs to write a 12volt cookbook

Yes, that would be a good idea, there are so many things that can be cooked in this little oven.

You need to power the travel buddy with much heavier cable than 20A...don't forget voltage drop from light cable. The lead supplied is fine if it connected directly to the battery - it already incurs the maximum voltage drop, you don't want to add to that with, not a flimsy 20A cable run from the battery.

Yes, we opted for 50A which is a bit of overkill perhaps but better to be safe than sorry.

@@WesternAustraliaNowAndThen Good call. The 50A will have 2/5th.s the voltage drop of the 20A cable, so not overkill at all. I've heard a few people complain about these travel buddies, while others rave and i reckon the difference is the size of the feed cable. If the lighter plug and socket are getting warm during use, replace the plug and socket with a 50A Anderson connector. Ultimately, from an electrical perspective, you would run the 50A feeder straight into the travel buddy and get rid of the socket/plug and the flimsy cable supplied. They draw between 8 - 10A continuously, that means that every volt dropped before you get to the travel buddy, is a rather big hit on heating power, as you suffer the double whammy of reduced current and reduced voltage and power is volts times amps.
