As a Indian(middle class), these motor bikes are made for offroad, country side and good milage ...grt boon for transport to millions of indian common men for decades
I am glad Indian Govt, and companies are thinking about African nations that were ignored by the west. Adding African Union to G-20 is just a start, we will develop the Global South in the leadership of India. India ❤️ Africa.
"Ignored by the west" ummm, the US has given by far the most humanitarian aid to Africa out of anyone in the world. No sticky strings attached to loans like Chinese loans, literally just over 8 billion in aid. Hundreds of millions of dollars to many countries.
All the comments about motorbikes but they fail to understand that the Indian motorbikes are well suited for the African terrain , they are rugged and tough and easier maintenance . The Indian bikes are work horses while the Japanese bikes are more race horses .
Puh. Honda has an extremely good image for reliability. In the European/us market that is, so for 40_200hp motorcycles. Anyway I really do doubt that their 125cc are less reliable. But they are probably more expensive. Probably a good tad higher quality too , maybe , but that's not necessarily in the important places. Better paint, suspension, stuff that won't really make or break a journey
@@gur262 Good image for reliability on modern roads and highways but I doubt they could challenge the toughness of the Bajaj on dirt roads , and not for a day or two but for 25 to 30 years .
Well said. Indians have a better understanding of what poor people in developing countries deal with. Japanese thinks everyone has nice paved roads like they have.
Bajaj motorcycles are crazy strong and reliable, I have a 125 cc that I owned for over 15 years now, I still use it daily, the best aspect of it is that it consumes so little gasoline per km.

You wouldn't touch any of these Indian bikes they're referring here. They're all ultra small 125cc category not producing anything more than 8hp. The motorbikes you want are the ones producing 80+hp.. Not these puny daily commuters for majority of us Indians.
Same here in my country, the Philippines. We are being flooded with cheap Chinese motorcycle, you can eve get a unit in one day process in installment without background check and a very small down payment. But the downside with those chinese motorcycle is poor quality specially the plastic parts and they dont have readily available spare parts, plus they're horrible when it comes to gas consumption. The Indian made however is a different story, not as cheap as made in china but not expensive like the Japanese, have a good quality parts, good engine power for it's size and a very good gas consumption.
Chinese motorcycle has failed in Indonesia due the false marketing, they don't maintain the brand name, letting local dealer importing and assembled locally so the quality is not controlled.
It's because of the lower price product. Chinese want the product to be sold out in cheap so that they can capture the market, but they should realize that QUALITY must be maintained.
@@wavemaker2077 once we talk about reliable daily used motors which is lower than 200 cc, its still honda, I can assure more than 70% of the daily used in Indonesia are honda for obvious reason , but for sport and high cc maybe you can consider another brand.

My father brought a bajaj platina in 2006 and we sold it last yr many of my relatives were shocked looking at the condition of our bike like no rust at all The engine was in good condition and now some other person is driving our bike and it's not going anywhere for like 5 more years
Build quality is unreal man
INDIAN MEANS RELIABLE mark my words....
I have been to tvs manufacturing plant in hosur(Tamil Nadu). It was an Industrial visit from our college. When we visited they we're manufacturing bikes which were supposed to be exported to Africa. From what I saw I can say that the tvs bikes in India are different from the ones in Africa. Though the engines are same but the design was different much more suited for a muddy roads. The bikes were cool tbh.
Just don't fall to chinese debt trap.... Stay strong
All the Indian politicians are proud to hear this because they're the reason for bad roads in India
We also have Race horses but they're emerging recently
@@gur262
Good image for reliability on modern roads and highways but I doubt they could challenge the toughness of the Bajaj on dirt roads , and not for a day or two but for 25 to 30 years .
Well said. Indians have a better understanding of what poor people in developing countries deal with. Japanese thinks everyone has nice paved roads like they have.
Good thing about Indian bike, reasonable, reliable & parts are cheaper & available.
Bajaj motorcycles are crazy strong and reliable, I have a 125 cc that I owned for over 15 years now, I still use it daily, the best aspect of it is that it consumes so little gasoline per km.
I have a bajaj platina for 16 years, use it daily to go to work. Still 74.6 kmpl (avg 40 km/h) .
✅ As Indian : my respect for African brothers and sisters 🙏

Good nice to hear tat.. India has always been nice n humane not like other countries who are concentrated only on profit. They let Parsis come n stay in India. They let irsaelis stay in India with peace... Cute country vibrant n loads of culture...n😍
When a company develops a product for India and becomes successful here, it will also find it easy to be accepted in Africa. Indian consumers are very smart and look for value just like our african brothers. ❤
In India... Our first bike was Bajaj Boxer in 2003, followed by Bajaj Discover- 2010 and right now Bajaj Avenger.

As a rider is the US. I wish bikes were as common here as it is in other countries.

Yeah but we prefer the japanese motorcycle.
I dont care if expensive i still buy it.

He said "Afreakin"..... 😂

I can say all were more or less same these days when considering 50k mileage except bajaj ct100 which is like going strong even after 2,50,000kms 18 years delivering 60+kmpl. I can attest to that here in cameroon, the Chinese bikes are being phased out by the Indian ones, but I know that the Chinese will fight back soon...
In Indonesia, in the news, the thiefs leave the bike on the street, when they realized it's bajaj.
I have used chinese for 7 months and broke down 6 times, had to sell it for half the price after a year. I stopped using it after the 7th month because it was too much of work and absolute inconvenient. Had to take it to the mechanic every month and then wait for it to be repaired for days and sometimes even for a week. It not only wasted my hard earned money, it also wasted so much of my time and energy and was useless when I needed it the most.

And Indian🇮🇳 Mahindras are way better than American🇺🇲 Jeeps.
Copied from?
@aiko4402 actually Mahindra had a license to build Jeeps since world war 2 and has been consistently building them much longer than FIAT-Chrysler.
@aiko4402
Please don't insult Mahindra.
The Mahindra🇮🇳 Thar is a completely different vehicle from the relatively inferior FIAT🇮🇹-Jeep🇺🇲 Wrangler. It only looks similar.
The Mahindra🇮🇳 Thar is slightly narrower (more practical for narrow streets and trails), has a higher ground clearance, smoother ride (on roads and highways) and a five star crash rating at less than ½ the price of your relatively crappy 3 star crash rated 🇮🇹Jeep🇺🇲 Wrangler.
This is why the criminals at FIAT-Chrysler🇺🇲🇮🇹 are keeping Mahindra out of the North American🇺🇲🇨🇦 Market with their criminal lobbying of corrupt North American governments. And trying to expensive SLAAPP style lawsuit to force Mahindra out of other markets....
@aiko4402 so you mean to say Audi A4 is copied from Toyota Camry is copied from skoda slavia is copied from Volkswagen virtus is copied from Hyundai Verna... in the same way there is a category where thar and Wrangler share the same design and there is one more that is hummer..will you say now hummer is copied from Wrangler?
