really enjoyed the analysis after the game! i remember one of the first times i played against you in an online tournament, after you won you stayed in the discord for a few minutes and kind of "debriefed" us on the game, gave some tips how we could have played our position better and some insight which decisions likely won you the game. i respect the hell outta you since then. thanks for being so kind and educative! love the fact that you decided to do a youtube channel!

Agree with lots of people here, love the longer form content with the in-depth thought process. Once the game kicks off it’s honestly pretty snappy all things considered. I think some editing could be nice for certain situations in the future, like when opponents take a very long time trying to negotiate trades and it’s unsuccessful or something, but for the most part I like things as they are now. Great work!
Love the commentary! As for your question: I think these 20min video's are great. So kinda in between the two option you gave: not edited down to the core. Take tour time explaining your decisions and others', but do cut out some waiting-time here and there.

great play - I love how you mobilized the others against red because of that early plow!! though green became very dangerous because of it.. I think you made many good moves, maybe except for making trades after building on the same turn, as people might turn you down if you look intimidating. Still, orange gave you two fantastic trades there!!
Ok my two cents. Whatever you did here video wise, I thought was great. You explained your moves, told us what you thought about the other players plays, and went through your win conditions as they changed and explained why. Honestly though, content is key in my opinion. Keeps you popping up in the UA-cam. So I'll take the longer videos that are unedited if that saves you the time. Just keep the game analysis!! Also, you are unbelievably optimistic and positive. This is something I definitely need to emulate in my games.... Lol I freak out if I get cut off....
I would agree that deving first is considered most optimal. Intuitively, I am conscious of my hand size to avoid 7ing out. I would have dropped the road even with pulling a road building since buying the dev card take me to 6 cards, and every roll would put me over. There is always the settle on 83 or desert available. Nice catch and thanks for being here!

Loved the video. I think if you do a recap at the end to explain the flow of the game and your thought process at crucial moment, a shorter video is fine. Be sure that your zoom on the map is optimal ;) Looking forward for the next one!
I liked the formatting of this video. I appreciate the unedited gameplay, while editing out the loading time. You could fast forward some slower parts of the gameplay if you don't have anything to say, but overall I'm enjoying the flow.
Will you get a camera, catan is a round based game so you will be doing a lot of talking and explaining inbetween and during rounds, and such streams/videos get instantly more worthwhile with a camera. You can easily cover the message chat / card bank question mark area. Anyway it's cool you're talking fluently and explaining stuff, good video. Subbed
