Brooklands. It was the first and it has more character than the AVUS. Though I remember watching F3 and DTM at AVUS on TV in the 80s and 90s, I really think Brooklands was the more interesting circuit, and it holds so many motorsport "firsts". It's where we get "the paddock" from, had the first electronic timing apparatus used for motor races, gave birth to motor racing as we know it.
I think AVUS deserves a win here. Since the whole track tales place in the freeway, it would be good for drivers to gain very high acceleration on the straights. Also, its a shame the track was discontinued after 1998. Would be good if they had brought it back for a one time event.
Well the accidents of Dieter Quester, John Winter and Keith O'Dor in the 90s did not make the track any safer. I would like to see an AVUS revival one day, maybe on a different part of the autobahn.
i choose the avus. for 2 reasons: in the 90s alexander wurz chose to brake in front of a service truck which was leaving the track and was crashed from behind. and there was a spectacular DTM race which had to be restarted 3 times i think after alessandro naninni catched fire
AVUS as I have sim-raced the track. Extremely fast and corners very dangerous.
This is very close for me, but I say AVUS just about takes it because of how mad it was.

And I'll vote avus too!

My favorite si avus because is one of the most craziest race track I have ever seen (before 1968)
I think it must be before 1967. The year the banking was demolished. It's easy to remember for me, because I was born in 1967.
This is one of the easier ones. Brooklands, obviously. AVUS is not really a race track.
Brooklands of course. The first ever and still has plenty of banking on show.
Brooklands for atmosphere and scary thought of driving it. Avus a v close second though
AVUS all the way - a 'Proper' Road Circuit which is in use EVERY day.

Brooklands for being the first and therefore the inspiration for those that came after.
Brooklands. The original, and the best.
Ciao Herman, I vote Brooklands. Happy Weekend 👍🍀🏁🇮🇹
Has to be Brooklands 😃
I vote for Brooklands
Will you guys ever make a video about Bremgarten? Love the content.
Next time when I go to Italy (I live in the Netherlands) I will make a stop at Bremgarten. But at the moment I don't know when I'm going there.
@@Circuitsofthepast Thank you!
I got one! Laguna Seca vs Sonoma Raceway
I visited Laguna Seca in 2014. Sonoma Raceway was also on the list, but due to lack of time I was unable to go there.
Oh
Brooklands. The Holy ground of F1
