It's physics based. Scope works perfectly fine. The difference to the M4 is the distance from the eye to the scope, which is longer on the Mosin. --> bigger zoom on the scope leads to greater effect in contrast to distance from the eye
Compare the size of the scope on screen 13:26 to 15:55 the Scope is the same distance from the eyes on both guns (according to the camera view maybe not game logic)
@@Talonzz Which still implies there is an issue since if when aiming down sight the eyes are the same distance to the scope, my character has broken his neck to put his eye at the same distance to the scope compared to the M4. The scope should be further away from the camera when ADS on the mosin if that is the case.
@@Stodeh Yes... I agree, not arguing with you. I'm just saying that what you are seeing IN the scope is because of eye relief. I have no idea if they have the camera to scope distance correct for every scope mount position/rifle stock length. Does that make sense?
Commenting before the video is over, so maybe you figure it out, but to me it looks like the scope has a short eye relief. When it's on the Mosin, the scope is a lot farther away from your eye than when it is on the M4. When you hold your breath it looks like he gets a little closer to the scope, so you can actually see through it.
Saw that you were testing the different scopes later in the video. To your comment on being surprised that one scope at 10x is better than the other at 6x and questioning if it is because the other scope is millimeters closer, Different scopes have different eye relief for example, IRL the Vudu 1-6x24 has an eye relief of 3.23-3.94" at 6x and the Vudu 3.5-18 has an eye relieve of 3.54-3.97" at 18x. I'm pretty confident that what your experiencing just comes down to the eye relief for the individual scopes. I'm not sure what all scopes are in the game and/or what works with the Mosin with the tri-rail, but with the scope mounted so far forward, you'd need a scope that has a longer eye relief. I'm honestly kind of surprised that they already have a somewhat accurate eye relief in the game.
As someone who shoots scoped rifles IRL I can confirm this is accurate. Eye relief and "'eye box"' effect your FOV through scope. Especially with a scope mounted that far forward. Good on the DEv's I say for realism.
A team Being able to bring a mortar tube and 5-6 rounds could be cool to combat campers. 3rd teammate could be spotter role. Ammo count and needing teamwork to operate would prob keep it from being OP.
That’s how scopes are IRL (source: I’m American. Guns are a part of my religion). Really though, that’s called a scope shadow. Notice how when you hold breath, it stabilizes and you can see without shadow? It’s got to do with the distance of the scope from your eye, otherwise known as eye relief. Chat isn’t wrong, you are. That’s 100% accurate to real life.
Dude that scope issue that you think you're having is called eye relief and is true to life with multi Zoom scopes if you're offset to the scope a little bit it blurs or blacks out the sight picture until you're aligned correctly with the scope so when you're moving around it does blur out a little there is an adjustment on most Scopes in real life to alleviate that slightly but they're trying to simulate a real life scenario and drawback of using a scope rather than a Red Dot or holographic
Bro, in case you didn't know in real life. If you mount a scope too far forward on your gun, it will do that. Every scope has something called I relief. In order to mount a scope that far forward in front of the action, you need something called a scout scope. It's a scope whose eye relief is specifically designed to be mounted there. I realize that you're not Americans, so you don't have much gun experience But it is 100% realistic to what would happen if you took a regular scope and put it too far forward on your gun.
Yes he gets that. That’s why he said maybe 100 times something is wrong with the build and currently no way for him to improve the eye relief with the current rails available to him. Right or wrong it’s unplayable the way it currently is.
@@clalam5241 again “realistic” or not it’s still not right. Not right = broken. in short terms, no weapon with any SCOPE system is worth it..... simply you are loosing oversight and orientation on battlefield...... BUT: when you are at least 2 in a party, and you will take support role when you don need to check corners and close combat, you are a Nuclear bomb with any of those weapons.... Simply I love the reload of mosin :D I love AKs, simply because only few players using them, and I have more than enough experiences with ARs and western weapons in practice, so I am enjoyng to play differently then another guys..... especially if you are not playing PVP mode.....
first 3 mins: when your arm stamina is drained you cant steady the gun with alt, making it sway all the way, be all zoomed in and the sway has the exact effect you are seeing, later it seems to me you aren't even pressing alt anymore
The scope sight is rendering as if where like 30 or 40 cm away from the eye irl, which doesnt ever happen. I mean, you can totallt replicate this, but it would be idiotic, suboptimal.
I mean shouldn’t you be able to use a way higher caliber bullets with the snipers that way they are better then assault rifles on ai and players with one shot body shots
No he just doesn't understand how scopes work in the real world anything that has a magnified optic from scopes to binoculars and microscopes have eye relief in easy terms its the angle you need to be looking through the scope in order to see through it , because there are basically no attachments to increase weapon handling on the mosin your going to get that movement also the distance of the scope from the persons eye further decreases the amount of tolerable moment making it harder to get a clear sight picture you will see those black outlines in the scope because the arms or head is moving. It does it on the M4's, and AK's as well however because your able to increase weapon handling you almost never see it, so no the scope is not broken he like many other players automatically assume its broken because its not a Call of Duty type scope where the picture is clear no matter what, BTW you don't need to have firearm knowledge to know this you just need to have common sense to research why that would happen to a scope but common sense isn't common anymore
🤦 if you sneak up on people mutually agree that you're clear to engage before opening up. If everyone has eyes on then the fight will go a LOT easier. Sheesh!
Assault rifles are too OP and they need to fix recoil pattern. You should not be able to be full auto with a mark 18 and zip people on full auto. Not realistic by any means.
Short Answer: NO.
Unless you're solo. I've found the Archangel Mosin to be quite useful when clearing Fort Narith and Midnight Sapphire solo.
that is how the eye relief works in real life

@@Stodeh But if you compare the weapons side x side, the distance from the back of the scope to the butt of the rifle is very different (Eye Relief)

That is a weapon sway. that's why weapon handling is important
how many scopes have you looked down irl though Stod?

How about different color halo's over each players head for friendly or enemy

It's called "eye relief".
scope can buy in trader the 3.5scope
That is normal for eye relief on a real scope
