Thanks for your video, it will be a great guide as I am just about to replace the same A-Arm on my Typhon 3S. Do you know if there is an aluminium upgrade A-Arm available for these buggies? I am seriously considering upgrading everything to aluminium parts, haven’t come across A-Arms in aluminium though. Cheers
Save your first 2 steps... Bypass removing the steering and camber links. They can stay on to replace a front arm... Only have to remove bottom shock screw also. Saves much time fixing at the bash spot👍
Thanks for sharing. I've replaced the rear arms on my Typhon and it was no big deal and the fronts look just as easy. I noticed that you are installing fixed links. My 3s Granite came with fixed links but the 3s v2 typhon has adjustable rods. Was that an upgrade or did yours come like that? 👍👍
Tough lol second run bounced off a truck tire .. lower arm snapped in half ! Smh lol first run was fun as heck ! One hell of a bash me and my daughter had blast ! Not so lucky second run lol
The arms on the new Big Rock and Typhon seem to be more brittle than the mega series 4x4's and the blx Senton and Granite..They look like a more shinny plastic to me..Your thoughts?
awesome video I just destroyed my left A arm and ripped a shock off the tower. The shock caps and front tower is very weak so i might go with aluminum or carbon
Hey Bill...How do those plastic driveshafts hold up on 3s..?? Thinking about getting aTyphon 3s but don’t wanna keep breaking driveshafts... Do you think maybe I should just go for the Typhon 6s..?
This was very helpful for a noob like me. What hex tool(s) are you using to unscrew these hex screws so fast? I’d like to pick up some tools myself as it seems I keep breaking something every time I go out haha.
I grabbed a skil brand power driver off Amazon. Its a little more compact then the one he was using (black and decker power screwdriver) They are only like 20$-25$ and work great! Then you just need to get 1/4 hex head set of drivers which is only like 10$-15$. Common sizes of the hex drivers you need for rc range from 1.5mm to 4mm hex heads. Its a must have for working on rcs!
Thanks just bought mine a few days ago and already have to do this and didn't know how to get the pin by the tire out very much appreciated
Great video. Thanks! I only needed 1. Usually I have to watch several
I like the #RPM A-Arms a lot better vs the stock Arrma ones! I have installed them on all of my #ARRMA rigs!
thanks for sharing this! You have really helped!

Great show but how comes you have front plastic turnbuckles non adjustable
I thought those were only on the brushed variant 2s green one🎯
Awesome,thanks a lot for sharing!
What I heard is a arms are longer then the senton or other models so you would have to change out both
Robert Profita yes u will change both side.
Well done bill!
I wonder if you could use the Typhon axle stubs and hexes on the Granite and Senton to make them 17mm
yes they are the same.

PhilthyCo RC agreed! I hope they don’t start making them less durable.

If the a-arms are shorter then how do you make up the difference??
wheel extenders and or wait till the stock ones come in. right now i just helping people get fixed to bash again
@@BillsRCHobbyShop i cant find 17mm hex hub extenders that fit properly in the center
NEVER use a power drill to tighten down the screws!
I said the same thing.. I use A makita Drill and those thing's are far faster and powerful... But i only get it far enough that I can tighten manually
@@fbiagent3399 or get a one that has a clutch system then u can set it for how much u wanna tighten it
@@randykirk62 Yah I recently seen those... If I was doing lots of screw work i would but for now I'm okay with what i got
Are the Senton/Granite front a-arms shorter?
