I've watched a few different reviews on this phone and yours was the most informative. I agree with your comment that it should be released to the global market. I'm in the UK and I would buy it over the S24 ultra, mainly on price and camera. I currently have the S23 Ultra and I think I've used the S pen twice. The only other phones I would consider are the Oneplus 12 and Vivo x100 pro.

I agree with you. I use GT 2 Pro and I'm so excited about GT 5 Pro, but as i heard , China version is also okay, and everything works normal..

Yes, we really need this phone in the Malaysian market. As of now, there's not much competition in the budget-flagship category in MY. So most people just go straight to the premium flagships or midrange devices. This phone and maybe K70, K70 Pro really could sell well within this budget-flagship category as there's not much competition.

@@mrxxavier9081 I don't like curved displays either but I am not gonna choose an inferior phone over the GT5 Pro ever in my life. The GT5 Pro is so much better it's not even funny.
@@arkhalis3682 but on paper k70 screen are a tad better than gt5 pro..k70 got 2k screen whereas gt5 pro claw back with 144hz

Watching this review on my GT5 Pro 1TB/16GB model here in the UK. Absolutely incredible phone, the best I've had in years (and I've had many!)
Incredible display, insane battery life, great cameras, brilliant performance, very good speakers with spacial audio, and all wrapped in premium hardware. I love Realme UI, and once you remember to turn on notifications for any apps you want them from, the only things you're losing out on (vs a global device) is no Android Auto and no notifications on the AOD.
Best device for the price in a long time!
Update: the device also never gets hot unless you're playing new 3d titles with high refresh rate enabled. 100w charging is also great, tops the phone up from flat in about 25 minutes. Vegan leather and slim metal frame ooze quality and great craftsmanship. Incredible phone.
Doesn't this device show notifications on AOD? Are you sure? I'm planning to buy this one.
@@sakibsadman317 it will show icons and notifications for system apps and other popular Chinese apps, but nothing outside of that - no WhatsApp, Facebook, email etc.

@@ZachTechonebattery lasting two days with light use. If you want to kill it in a day you'd need 8-9 hours of screen on time. I use it with 144hz and max screen resolution on.

Listed for 430 euros or about 2.2k..but if this phone come to malaysia..it will cost at least 2499..some sellers in shopee charge imported set of gt5 pro for as high as 2.7k..maybe if this come here they will be price as high as 2999

Global launch is slow for Realme. Back in 2023, China released GT5 Pro and Malaysia just started selling GT3 240W. Main point is that the GT5Pro's retail price in China is similar to the retail price of GT3 in Malaysia

Not only are they late but also markup price is too high. It's why I'd rather buy Realme AP set instead. Poco does a lot better in pricing.
It takes months and months for a global release. People won't wait so long. They will buy the OnePlus 12. Why does it takes so long Realme for a global release in Europe ?

Yes for sure! Mine got region locked
@@thavraknop4189 my device got locked within 4 days of purchase. I had to spend about $30 to unlock from local technician.

Tempting but curved screen scares me lol..but then k70 series feels underwhelming
The only downside is the video.. video is unstable if you walk or panning around, thats why you don't see video samples here, they better do update the camera software or better buy x100 because same price range

Have one that will arrive in a few days. I live in Norway. The biggest bummer is a lack of HDR and L1. Also a limited number of LTE bands. But it should be well usable and a cheap solution for me.
One thing I am unsure of is the quality of the glass.

Hi Guys i want your opinion, i am thinking to buy oneplus 12 or realme gt 5 pro, and all what matters to me is the battery, since both they have 5400 i dont know which one is going to be more sufficient, i use my phone on powermode always
Oneplus 12 for 5g/4g bands +, faster os update
Gt5 pro for "gaming" also better display altho most wouldnt notice a difference
realme gt5 pro.
it has better cooling system which leaves the battery at cool temperature at all time which equates to better battery efficiency . it also has better efficient display, ltpo at 0.5Hz vs 1Hz on the oneplus.
i recommend you go with the glass or namely, the black variant of the realme gt5 pro because it takes full advantage of the large cooling system vs the leather variant which would store more heat compared to the black variant

Eh 3 years of android update + 4 years of security update is good enough.

This looks like a great phone and I'm interested in getting it in the Global Version. I hope that it will come out in the Global Version with the same fast charging speed and long-lasting battery throughout the days. Hopefully it'll also have a screen recorder that records video chat calls with sound too.
