I don't comment as a rule, but I have to say this pen took my breath away! The design exquisite! Hand engraving; Ebonite feed instead of plastic, the symmetry is faultless, beautiful, quality workmanship! Good it doesn't post because that can ruin a pen.. then the most important part the gold hand engraved nib!!! Your writing sample showed it's amazing performance. Wow! I am so impressed, love Omas.. the phoenix has risen..You did a great job with the review.. understated elegance and classic.. oh I also prefer a piston filler. This I have to say is now my dream fountain pen..
I forgot to say the flex nib is my preferred nib and this one flexes just the right amount. Enjoy your relaxed and conversational presentation. So nice.. hope you have an enjoyable day
Im so happy i could bring these traits of the Scribo feel in this video :D I do own one myself and i really like what they are producing with the guys and the know how of Scribo - nibs are splendid and they are for sure going to have a lot more interesting entries in the Feel series :D as of yeasterday they launched the new ones - a grey one and a blue one
Thank you for the closer look at the BBB. It was a shame that the Omas BBB was only available on a handful of pens, so it is very exciting to see a 100% identical nib from Scribo. I would want a dual tone nib with some nice stamping at that price point, but it is probably a bit early for them to risk paying Bock to create expensive new tooling. They could use the old Omas Paragon arrow design, but turn the arrow into a feather(Scribo's logo). That would be a lovely hommage to their history.
The BBB nib is a highlight of the Scribo nib sizes - dual tone nibs are not that easy to pull off these days when we have so many numbers and the hours of cleaning one by one nibs to create those crisp sharp lines of a dual tone nib ... takes so much production time :D
@@pen.venture Yes, absolutely; it is too risky for a young company to spend enormous amounts of money on exotic features like custom stamped dual tone nibs. I hope they will be successful, and this will allow them to create unique materials, nibs and pen shapes in the future. It is already exciting to see a company making triple broad nibs again, when most companies are doing the opposite and deciding to stop making very broad nibs.
Thank you Emy for the detailed review of the Scribo pens. You are tempting me into buying one. I think for me EF would be perfect considering the nib is very wet and the feed is of Ebonite. One thing, I feel these pens are quite thick as they are similar to the Leonardo Momento zero Grande. I find Grande quite thick.
my first choise was exactly the Verde Bosco or the Grigio Giorno! The Verde Bosco was sold out.. so I got the Grigio.. very beautiful .. and the Oceano.. wow.. amazing.. the 3B is very interesting too. 👍 great review
Thank you Damian - to be honest after seeing the Prato i was feeling sad i didnt go for that one 🙌🏻 in regards of nibs ... Well for me it has to be xf or f in 14k flex 🙌🏻 thank you for your suppor 🙌🏻 BBB is a monster like ive sayed
@@pen.venture do you know if the nibs on these pens are unscrewable or friction fit and is it easy to remove them to wash the pen`? or it required a special tool.. like the Montblanc?
Very easy to remove they are screw in - I’ll make a video showing how to safely do it. No tool require - a paper towel and a quick video on how to do it and what to expect from it
I like all the nibs. Would love to try the BBB, but I'd be likely to get daily use out of the fine flex. I'm wondering if you have any information on how it compares to the medium flex? Your handwriting is beautiful, by the way...although I was wondering how you were going to manage to write with that BBB nib. 😊
BBB is a exotic choice and I could say its more about to have a paintbrush than actually writing, you must have a really bold handwriting to make up the letters when using BBB - Medium flex Id say its 40% of the BBB in reagards of the line it lays down. Thank you for your compliment :)) I have a rather small handwriting but I gust adjust to the BBB and compensate
Both of these pens are not in the video - thy are going to have a video review coming this following week :D they are the same in regards of shape and nibs and all - but different colors
You picked one of the best 👌🏻🙌🏻 chatoyant blue playing with your senses 👌🏻 and also the size I like - EF. Congrats and thank you for your support Francesco 🙏🏻
what Omas called fountain pens and produced ... are never going to be obtainable these days - not as models/materials/quality and prestige. What Scribo makes today are rather conservative on the model ranges (shapes and sizes) - great variation of colors in materials and nibs that are reminiscent with OMAS - which I think they are pretty close in feeling to omas nibs. Quality on scribo and omas are quite similar, construction and design behind - since is basically the same people that are repeating the same process. As of what we see today being produced under the name OMAS - if you dont see it selling in our store, it has a good reason why is that
Hey Knorad, i have spoken with Luca Baglione from SCRIBO on this matter a few hours ago, i experienced the same with the trims on my Verde Bosco, but that is not rust that is oxidation of the brass that was gold plated. If you take a polishing cloth you can make them shiny quick and easy - if the problem persists - Luca told me to email him and he will repair your pen swapping your trim.

Nice review and beautiful Bosco Verde and I love fine nibs
Even better than the F Its EF but at the moment when I bought mine :)) I was still hesitant on EF nibs ... now I’m not:

Hey K - the EF would be my choice for my next SCRIBO , well regarding the size, at th maximum girth point of the shape, is more than the grande.

Wow that BBB is awesome 👏🏻
I haven’t seen lately other having this option on their line up and I’m impressed by these ones. Thank you for your support
Nice pens, thank you Emy !
Thank you David - like I sayed , you won’t find anything in my store that is not also on my tastes in my personal pen collection

Scribo vs new OMAS?
:)) I have so many things to say but I dont know where to start, let me know how to approach it? pens?mastery? nibs? quality? pens?
@@pen.venture Pena, nibs and overall quality. Is the new OMAS worthy if it's name?

There is not a commun choice but boy it’s nice 🙌🏻 the first one I’ve tried of this caliber
I have this pen for 10 months (verde bosco). It is rusting - all metal
(except gold nib) parts. Think it over before you spend your money.
