God this cup is awesome. Here’s how I’d rank every racetrack in this cup from worst to best. 6. Big Hand (Without question my least favorite stage in the game, it’s soooooo frickin’ annoying, but at least the visuals are nice and the music is really good) 5. Sand Ocean 2 (This track is unfortunately not nearly as cool as the other Sand Ocean Stage, but it’s still pretty dope, all those turns makes it an incredibly enjoyable time, and oh my gosh the music is absolute madness and I love it to death) 4. Port Town 2 (EASILY my preferred of the 2 Port Town stages, this one’s visuals are vibrant and beautiful, the sheer amount of turns makes it quite enjoyable, and the music is pretty dope) 3. Devil’s Forest 3 (My favorite Devil’s Forest stage, the fact that it’s like a strange Möbius strip or something like that is super sweet, the track itself is very fun, the visuals are awesome, and the music is so damn good) 2. Space Plant (I have no idea why but I feel like this track inspired F-Zero GX’s Cosmo Terminal, but anyways, this track has a cylinder section which is pretty awesome, the visuals are just godly, the track overall is pretty fun, and the music is really good as well) 1. RAINBOW ROAD (It’s Rainbow Road, so I don’t need to say much other than this is my favorite track in the whole game, and it’s really just one of those HOLY SHIT kinda tracks)
I was playing this recently but using an Xbox One controller. I found it to be a lot better at controlling with that then the Xbox 360 controller or the N64 standard controller. I also dropped the analog sensitivity from something like 65% down to 50%, which helped a lot.
Larry Longplay That's interesting. I don't have an Xbox One controller, but I do plan to get one eventually. I think I would still find myself sliding out of control no matter what controller I use, though. It's really just a combination of my Xbox 360 controller, but also that I'm not too good at the game itself.
arronmunroe that its something about the 360 joystick that has some sort of a small deadzone that makes small adjustsments impossible and moving the joystick outside of it ingame will make think the game you yanked the joystick instead resulting in you sliding all over the place you can test this increasing the joystick sens and then trying to make small adjustments with different sens and see how inconsistent they are That shit made me play this game with mouse inputs instead and i've got to say it feels really REALLY smooth its a whole experience playing it with a mouse so yeah the 360 controller its not fit for games that expect high accuracy/smooth analog movement
Zera its just that the 360 controller its garbage for this game not the controller itself that is bad it just doesnt work with this game its unplayable unless you lower the sensitivity between 50% to 44%
I found that messing with the range can also make it easier to drive, but that doesn't really work when you need to make a sharp turn. Is there a controller you like using with this game aside from the standard N64 controller?
Of everything i tried apart from the n64 controller, the xbox one and gamecube controller are the ones that feel better at playing this game specially the gamecube one as it has a delicate joystick as the n64, havent tried ps4 as i dont have it though so no experience on that one
I'm playing it on the switch and no matter how hard I try even being gentle with joy stick I always lose my grip and it makes me lose I can't beat anything above standard mode, it's to hard
Don’t forget to use Z and L for sharp turns!! You can see he even uses the L+L/Z+Z Shoulder Bash to make turns quickly. I didn’t know you could do that!
It's great if you do grip/max speed runs, since you can get away with a lot just by charging forward. His acceleration doesn't suffer too much, either. But his heavy weight can also be used for drifting far and fast, if you know when to do so in corners. Of course,it all depends on playstyle and preference, though there is technically a "meta" for machines.
The Twin Noritta (Gomar & Shioh) from what I’ve seen online appears to be the best machine in the game. But some machines are better for certain courses/strategies.

I like how this games Port town 2 is basically an exact recreation of Port Town 2 from the original F-zero on the SNES
12:26 a pure f zero moment. viscious and opportunistic.
I thought the same when I saw this. Perfection.
And totally unnecessary. Classic.
@@denimchicken104 seemed necessary. He only got 2 first place finishes and an 8th place. To finish 1st overall, he probably needed to kill.

As a matter of fact, Rainbow road is a direct easter egg to the Mario Kart 64 rainbow road, its the exact same track, but thrown into F-Zero X
@@UrBloodOnMyFace Same with its soundtrack.
Also, have you noticed that Big hand is one of the deadliest tracks in F-zero X. Mortality rate here can vary, but it is always above 25%.

Is Black Shadow the best racer in this game?
I'm not sure that one vehicle in particular would be considered "the best". I mainly used this one here because it has better grip.
