Backpacking and Fishing with the Twins

- The Twins, myself, and the dog head out for 3 days into the backcountry. Fishing, carving, and exploring ensue. Some behind the scenes info (for the 2 people that actually read this), I was carefully watching a forest fire somewhat close to where we were located. In fact in some shots you can hear the planes fly nearby as they were fighting the fire. It was far enough away I didn’t feel we needed to leave, but close enough I was keeping my eyes on it.
What a location, Crocket! I see you're still using the Zephyr. I bought mine because of you, and it's kept me warm and dry in some wild conditions. Thank you for that. My kids are camping addicts now. Started them at 3, took 'em out in the cold, let them tend fire. It's the best, man, getting to show them the real world.
Much respect. Spending time like this with your kids is priceless........
Agreed. They still talk about this trip.
Beautiful place for a hike and the boys are growing up fast👍👍
Too fast. This area is certainly one of my favorite places to go. So many areas I probably won't get to them all by the time I can't hike around anymore.
Thanks for sharing
Appreciate you watching.
Thanks for taking us along on this trip. God bless guys like you who teach the young ones about being outdoors.
Thanks for watching. Hoping to plant some seeds here. At least give them the exposure and hopefully it's something they can enjoy the rest of their lives.
Awesome Video! Thanks for posting. Can't wait to see more content 😊
Been bored out of my mind with a broken leg and nothing really good on UA-cam lately thought I would see if any of my favorite UA-camrs posted anything and to my surprise a Crockett video!!! Great video and loved the part when the kids was singing Beastie Boys Brass Monkley lol
Sucks about the leg man. Hope you heal quick. LOL they were funny thinking they were cool as if their old man didn't know about the Beastie Boys. It's fun to see my kids get older and "discover" old cool bands and then act like their parents don't know about the bands.
Thanks Crocket
Great seeing you again!
Remember that John Wayne movie, Big Jake, and other characters kept telling him, “mister, I thought you were dead”? Well, I kind of thought the same thing about you, at least as far as your channel was concerned. Then, low and behold, this showed up in my feed. Good to see you Crocket! Fine looking sons by the way, and a cool looking trip. Thanks for sharing!
LOL think of it dying but still kicking with some last breaths : )
Great video! Nice to see the twins adventure :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Looks like you guys had a good time! great video as always.
Much better than their first trip out where they threw up all night for sure. They're getting older now and it's a little easier to teach things to them too. That's always a fun part for me.
Camping with the boys. It don't get any better than that! Really nice location. I'm a bit disappointed, I didn't get to see anyone kissing a fish.
LOL I should have made him do it!
Great area.. I was thinking about that porcupine just before you mentioned it.
Thanks for the video brother
An interesting experience for sure. My porcupine encounters are becoming more frequent. I tried looked up some data if their population has increased in my area, but could not find any data.
Beautiful country and looks like a great time with your boys. Be safe with the fires
LOL you're one of the 2 that read it : ) As the fires went this fire season it was actually a very small one they had containment on. Turned out to be a non issue fortunately. Thanks for watching.
Great to see this. Nice trip.
Thanks for watching. One of the few trips I recorded this year.
Welcome back!!!!! Need your shooting videos soon.
I'm holding out on any shooting right now with the ammo situation. But man I've been wanting to get out a shoot lately.
Nice video footage! Big like👍 from me! I also love camping, hiking with my dog and shoot some videos too. Keep on!
That's a beautiful location. Probably can't tow my travel trailer there. It's cool you have twins. I'm a twin too.
No motor access in this area. Foot traffic only. You need to give me advice now that you're older of the stuff you parents did that you hated as a twin. They hate when they get the same clothes for Christmas for example. It's funny to watch them get mad.
I remember that video with the porcupine. Lookes like a great trip. It surprised me how big the twins are. I guess time has gotten away from me.
I find time gets exponentially faster as I get older.
