The video is size small. The pattern includes XS-5X
I am doing this pattern, step by step as you explain, but 120 rows do not measure 22 inches, it measures less and it is smaller, about 14 inches. I don't know what the error is. I love this pattern but I don't know how to continue it, can someone help me, please?
I’ve had exactly the same issue with the same finish measurements of 14” and now not sure how to up size how many v stitches to do if I do the extra 60 rows on the collar to make 22” 😢

I love your tutorials! ❤ for this I used a #1 fingering weight yarn - completed 120 rows for the collar using 3.5mm hook but it’s 14” long not 22” 😢 so don’t know how to continue with the rest of the pattern 😞
I have the same problem. I don't know what the error is
So gutting, I’m using chroma fingering weight #1 which is 70% superwash wool and 30% nylon 🤷🏻♀️
You need to adjust your hook size until you meet the band gauge. Everyone crochets differently and has different tensions.
@@mjsoffthehook really appreciate your reply MJ, every pattern I’ve purchased to use alongside your tutorials have helped me grow in confidence - basically you’ve taught me (and a ton of others to crochet) I’ve managed to get all the others spot on 🥰 will try a size 4 instead of the 3.5 and failing that, a 4.5mm 🤘🏻 thanks again 🙏🙏🙏
@@MariaRosarioGuerreroGall-jv4xo if it’s any help following MJ’s advice I’ve tried a 4mm instead of a 3.5mm and that still only takes me to 16” (doing some sketchy maths!) going up half a size only gave me another 2” so on that very unscientific thoughts I’m thinking a 5mm would possibly be the next one to try to hopefully reach the 22” ?! - I’m self taught off off MJ’s tutorials and only been crocheting 8 months so other more experienced peeps may have better advice but hoping maybe this helps x
How do we change the sizes from your tutorial? I'm new and want to make this for my child. So it would be a size 6 adult Australia size if that makes sense
