Great video. One suggestion. Black socks. Id even find gray acceptable here. Not that white socks are bad. There’s just more situation suitable options. Cheerio
They're certainly worn at this point; I don't have any input for the poly bushings, but I really enjoy my Delrin ones. There's no real change in vibration in the cabin, and the car feels a lot more direct now.
✌ my friend. I have a 1998 v70r which was converted to manual. I purchased the delrin bushings along with ipd torque trans mount with polyurethane bushings at firewall and engine. I was just on the phone attempting to get rear lower mount. Well point being i was told that delrin really mess up the ride in regards to harshness and vibration. What is your take after installation and use? Thanks🙄
Being that it's a manual, I don't feel any vibration whatsoever. The car is a bit stiffer, sure, and the steering input is more direct. I don't find any negatives to be honest. You might get a touch more rattling inside the cabin though with all of the plastic. Just take the trims off & put Dynamat or Noico material behind them and it will be great.
@@matthewbreeden6651 😅thank you for the response instalation is happening as we read!! Can't wait!! Have upgraded your suspension. My V has been outfitted with Nivomats in the rear and they are shot. I purchased an all around OEM suspension setup to find out the rear are non compatible. I proceed the nivomats at $361.00 each., I'm just gonna hold out for BC coilovers at $1097. -$1197.. I am excited to say I am almost at stage 0. My engine bay is almost new... almost!! Thanks for insight and inspiration.
@@EnlightenedHeckler I'm partial to the 4C setup, but to each their own. If you want to follow along more with my build, it's @swedespeedv70r on instagram.
@@reallyhappenings5597 Volvo now state to use the same bushing on all 4, I asked for the one with the larger oval and the dealership told me it was superseded according to VIDA.
Strongly considering these for my S60 while doing the upcoming manual swap, since a Volvo crony suggested it. Heard nothing but good things about them! 🦾

I have a video on the Volvo special tool for this, which is still available

Are all 4 bushings the same size?
yes!
But one front corner is different, and that bushing is the "pilot."
@@reallyhappenings5597 maybe the OEM ones are different, but the Delrin bushings were all identical.

I'm watching with the sound off, why not work on a bench if I sat on the floor like that I'd be hurting for weeks. Put that thing on a bench

Good job you don't value your fingers, knuckles or subframe!
Car feels great 3k miles later, hands are good, thanks for your concern!
