Marco is still in the more recent concert recordings, as he did not leave until late 2020, with more old and new songs. Wembley and Tampere 2015, Buenos Aires 2019 all are good as well, so enjoy all of the good music to come.
You got the emotions of a Nightwish show ending. It's always like that.
There is much more Marco for you to see, in particular the best show of all, Buenos Aires 2018, the second at Wembley 2015 and the Tampere 2015 show.
The best version of Last Ride is Masters of Rock 2016.
But plenty more Marco and two of my top 6 are from Buenos Aires, 2 from Wembley 2015 and one from Tampere so a long way to go yet, never fear.
Next concert must be Webley Arena....you will love that even more...😊

During the pandemic, since there was no travel most bands had to lay of the crews that travel with them. Just so you are aware, that's around 50 people for NW. NW decided to allow crew members to record an entire album of NW music in their own style and sold it on the NW website under the name Crewish along with merch (t-shirts and such) and encouraged NW fans to buy it so that the crew could make some cash. To my knowledge, no other band did that. The band always lists the crew in credits.

Wacken 13 was amazing...probably one of the best ever live gigs by anyone, but NW have performed brilliantly at other gigs since....Please check them out. Marko was great, and he have a huge impact on what Nightwish was throughout the years, just remember Nightwish is still great, even without Marko.. its incredible to have a band like this that changed so many members, and always keept it going, and that is the mastermind of Tuomas to keep this going, he create from the tools he got..
Tuomas once said, Nightwish is like a carosel, the riders might change, but the carosel never stops!!

Hi again! Just wanted to mention about Marko that there was no bad blood between him and the rest of the band when he decided to step down. And he doesn't regret anything musically. It was the industry and business side that he wanted to get away from. He is in a better place now and enjoys performing on the smaller stages 🙂And like others have said, there is tons more songs with him for you to find still
Some words from Marko's "Resignation letter": "...Blaming for instance Tuomas is an insult to both him and my free thinking. This is a very sad thing to all of us too. Have a care please." You can find the whole resignation letter in the internet where he told his reasons for leaving Nightwish.
don't be sad, they come back with Tapere 2015, wembley 2015, Buenos Aires 2018, Hellfest 2022, take the first song of this concert and go through all the concert and enjoy

You will have a chance to see much more from Marko on other concerts. He was in the band for 7 more years after this show.

A great reaction, and you got real emotional there at the end. This I think is one of my favourites and really a good show finisher. Don't feel bad about crying, it shows that you feel the music and although Marko has left Nightwish he is still out there making music. You still have three entire shows you can react to with Marco still in the band, namely Wembley 2015, Tampere 2016 and Buenos Aires 2018 - i hope you react to every song because we're really enjoying your Nightwish journey 🤘
No need to be sorry, I'm 57 and still get affected in the same way you did , and I've seen this hundreds of times. And I'm certain my fellow NW Army members won't mind me speaking for them that most of them feel the same way too.😊😊 But as has already been pointed out, you can see Marko on 3 more very special Nightwish live shows which are Wembley (my home City!) , Tampere in Finland and my personal favourite, Buenos Aires, Argentina - that show includes older Nightwish songs and newer. The Ghost Love Score is extremely emotional for Floor in that show as she is visibly overjoyed by nailing that last note. As a singer, that last note has to be belted which means there's always a big chance that you won't make it - but somehow she does every time! But I have loved your Wacken reviews - you have been delightful and extremely respectful. Take good care of yourself 😃 😊

Still makes me emotional and I've seen this a hundred times. It's good to be emotional and nothing is wrong with that. I'm almost 58 and Floors voice still makes me tear up. Marko is still in a lot of concerts it's only the ones from 2022 onwards that he is missing. You have lots more to hear and of course there's the solo stuff. Looking forward to your next reaction. Keep in mind, Jukka - Drummer - had to leave after this concert for health concerns of his own. Marko stayed on for quite a bit longer until his health forced him out.

We all miss Marko in the band, but life is change, and he did what he needed for his own health. Kai had some wild shoes to fill when Jukka N left but the band continued strong, vocalists have come and gone, and of course Marko himself was not one of the original members! Nightwish endures. As for this song, it's one of two I've picked to be played at my memorial service: enough said.

Nightwish has 10 albums and 6 of these features Marko. There are many concerts where Marko is present too, it's sad that he left, but at least we have these content with him. You should checkout Marko's last song with Nightwish: Endlessness.
Endlessness was never played live because Marko left before that could happen. There's a lyric video posted by Nightwish.
Endlessness is the last song from the Human. :||: Nature. album and the last song Marko sang in Nightwish. Marko has more albums than all the female singers: Tarja (5 albums), Anette (2), Floor (3).

We understand about Marko, but at least in the next concerts you'll see him in 2015 (and in 2018 in Buenos Aires, right?). Also, you'll hear Troy more. There's a song that featured Marko by Exit Eden called "Run" you should watch it.
Marco is a very talented guy, but he left the band because he wanted to and life after the band continues very well with its other members who are also very talented, everyone in the band has their value
Ah Zoey, your emotions are fine, NW pulls it out of all of us sometimes. But there's plenty more concerts with Marko and the band, and a few newer concerts with new bassist Jukka.. he's not Marko, who all of us miss, but he doesn't have to be. He just has to be Jukka. great to see such an emotional reaction. I agree with others that you should do Wembley 2015 next. But before that, I think you would love this. Last Ride Of The Day filmed in 2012 at the end of a run of concerts. Floor was not even officially a member of the band yet. They also bring on the stage, singers from Kamelot. I've just found this and loving it.

You totaly have all the rights to your emotions, i promise you that i share them with you! And don't be to worried about Marco, you still have 3 other live concerts to watch with him on board. And yes you will probably will be as well very emotional at the end of those ones.
That said, obviously after Floor Jansen and also without disrespect to Tarja Turenen & Anette Olsen; Marco Hietala will always be the Best singer of Nightwish.

Marko's retirement from the music industry was a great loss for Nightwish. Not so much as a bassist, but as a singer who is particularly excellent in duets, not only with Nightwish, but also in many guest appearances with other bands.
But Jukka's retirement was also a loss, because his style of drumming was quite unique. But Kai is an excellent replacement, in my opinion one of the best drummers in the world. And Jukka Koskinen is great as a bassist.
That's why we should enjoy the old songs with Marko, but look to the future, to the era of Nightwish without Marko. And that will also bring good music, just a little different.
Even with his top hat, Tuomas is still not as tall as Floor! Marko is pretty much irreplaceable, regardless of how good a bass player they find. With luck, perhaps, he'll make occasional guest appearances.
