Right before I walked out the door to head to the hospital I decided to do my very last Baby Momma Dance and I'm impressed with my agility 😌
I was getting induced a week before my due date due to the large size of my baby and a history of shoulder distocia. See my previous videos for more deets.
It was only for a few moments, but did you hear Nate singing some Big Tymers song?? Although this was a very intimate moment I decided to share it because it could motivate some expecting mothers to take the same path I did. AND I wanted to show my reality of what childbirth was like.
It took a couple hours for my contractions to pick up after my water was broken but when they did 😳 sh!t got real. They were consistent and intense and I needed a break ⏯
In the end, my birth plan worked out! I delivered my baby vaginally without any medication, had our golden hour, delayed cord clamping and I got to see my placenta 👀 I limped away with only two stitches 🕺🏾
As it was clearly depicted in the video, it was hard work! I asked for the epidural, narcotics and even a C-Section at one point 🥴
Oh and my father and Step-Mom (who flew from FL) was able to visit with the baby 😊

Wow! I missed this upload but I'm so glad to have seen it now. You did amazing!! Nate was a great support. I'm so happy you were able to have the birth that you wanted but I can tell it was hard work! How long was the labor?

@@84aishah Whew! Ok. Five hours isn't short by any means but I'm glad it wasn't all day. One of my sisters just had a baby and was in labor for 3 days. 😬
