Very professional and well explained. One thing missing in the discussion is the burden that the loss making state opened enterprises like the PIA are on our state exchequer. Similarly the role of prohibitively expensive energy generation in Pakistan under which we can never hope to even retain the current industry let alone expand it. If these issues could be addressed in a future discourse it would greatly help our understanding of the current predicament.
Set up an , " Economy Revival Board " .
Grant it extensive executive powers.
Appoint this guy as its head ; make him directly answerable to not the govt , but the Parliament .
Good explanation👍
You are a smart person. I saw you on Dr.Cheema's show and first time I felt someone is unapologetically Pakistani without self-loathing or delusion.
We need government of people
We need a solid justice system
We free and fairer election
We need good relationship with neighbours
It should be 'new challenges for the old government '.
A great debate
آپ کی تحقیقی گزارشات بہت اچھی ہیں
اصل میں انہی پیمانوں پر سنجیدگی سے کام کرنے کی ضرورت ہے
Great intentions sir i talked about these issues but my colleague said its impossible because 'babu' Will be hungry and and angry.
Good analysis

Dear Sir, you said that IMF needs to understand, but in fact it is for us to understand that IMF's goal is not to developed Pakistan, rather to keep it in a debt trap. If we want progress and development we should and must get rid of the IMP parasite.
Do Pakistanis discuss and know the following facts:
- 86% of Pakistani youths have NOT ever been to any library
- 70% of youths want to leave the country
- Debt per capita has increased by 36 % since 2012
- Income per capita dropped by 6% since 2011
- Pakistans' total GDP ( $ 341 billion) is less than TATA's market cap value ($ 365 billion)
- Pakistan to repay $ 26 billion IMF loan in 2024
We want kasmir saaar
Great suggestions by you to improve Pak economy, but who will do it ???

Sir yeh hamari army kisi eik government ko chhorte he nahe. Yeh jo karte inse koe poochne walah nahe balke siyasdano ko latkaya jata he. The biggest issue with our economy is political instability.
The two root causes of Pakistan's dwindling economy and sorry state:
*1- Corrupt politicians,*
*2- Backwards mindsets of the people.*
Deregulate > get the bureaucracy off the back of commerce >> deregulation will help reduce corruption and crime >> ban exports of all luxury automobiles, only 1300 cc cars allowed >> also end import of consumer goods other than bare essentials for food > etc.> strict population control, one-child policy.
Isn't too early , Sir?
No new public sector hiring in the next 10 years... right because the private sector is very merciful to its employees and does not consider them as work slaves. How about firing then? You said the govt sector is too large, maybe we should remove your job as well?
It's a productivity problem, public sector is inefficient at delivering resources and services to the people but their promotion and salaries are guaranteed by the taxpayer. Private sector struggles because of unproductive labour, political instability and uncertain currency rates. The salaries in private sector depends on the profits of companies so if the companies do bad, workers are laid off.
The economics institutes keep publishing research but the public is uninterested.

If Pakistan want to improve give up Pakistan version & practice of Islam
Kaur jee ,ok fine ,u should also remove muslim saints ashlok from ur garanth sahib.
@@firstandlast8119 believe statement is ours we will interpret as per wishes not yours , what happened to poor woman for wearing clothes UN Lahore is ur culture, in our system even atheists are respected, read about charawak in ancient India, who was atheist but is respected as saint
Convers have a basic problem. They tend to be more Islamic than the Real Muslims even though 99% of them cannot understand and interpret the Quran (which is in Arabic). Those who understand it, tends to become ex-muslims.
I heard PIDE panel discussion many time but why you always do criticism? Come up with solution
Why we want.... To help from.... Imf
Really Good one. But nobody can talk about population control and you can hear Pakistanis proudly saying (by saying ahlmduliliah) in Pakiatan that they have got 5-6-7 children even if they have little resources. Allah-ki-dain is keeping hungry allah-ki-aulad.
Interest rate .... Sood k nizam Pakistan se khatam kro... Log apna paisa banks se nikal kr.... Business mein lagyein ge... NOC k nizam khatam krein.... Jobs create hun ge... Charter of Democracy atleast 20 years keh liye
? Could few handpicked ministers and 'intellectuals' fix country's challenges, "the thieves can't saveguard the house"
A lady was attacked for alleged blasphemy with a cry " sar tan se juda"
Which forereign country come to invest in Pakistan.?
Make him finance minister >> ex-World Bank poohbah.
Pakistan economy is lost cause ,
Dead horse.
Your per capita income is 2000USD but you want to live life of 50000USD walla. Even ALLAH cannot run such economy. Tighten your belt, start living within yr means,AND START FEELING ASHAMED IN BEGGING.
Learn from Bangladesh
They have had worse start
They did not chug with boastful arrogance funding conflicts in region to get money
Instead they focused on running school , aid money was used for just that...aid
