The Roadster is a niche product. Tesla will lose money on everyone they sell. Tesla priorities: General Artificial Intelligence. $10B will be invested during this year alone. 4680 cells with dry cathode, about 30% cheaper, more energy density, and faster manufacturing. Tesla Semi manufacturing plant "expansion". First Semis were constructed on a pilot line, and a lot was done manually. Tesla may offer it with 48 volt architecture since it reduces cost Tesla Bot Optimus. Hands were improved, and Tesla has a few working on one of their plants. Versions will,be fixed by the end of this year, and mass manufacturing during 2025, Sold to other industries by 2026 FSD (not supervised) needed for the robotaxi, and AGI depends also on FSD going lvl5.
Almost any auto manufacturer takes 5 year for any new model they develop. That is using the same technology as the past 100 years. Tesla takes the same amount of time as an ICE car manufacturer but with state of the art ev technology, and manufacturing process, repair points are also included in the design before a single one is manufactured.
