This is the one I use to cure my migraines. Kanami is just amazing on this one. On a Friday I found BM, the next day I called a friend who used to live in Japan and spluttered out "I've found the most amazing band of all time! It's Japa--" "You found Band-Maid," he interrupted. "How'd you know?!" "Here's a link." it was Onset. I broke out in tears of ecstatic joy. It NEVER ENDS. Kanami has a well of endless hooks and amazing riffs, not to mention her astounding arrangements.

Hi again.. The first track they composed and arranged themselves is "Alone". Their management at the time allowed them to put one of their own tracks on their 2nd mini album and this was the result. Still one of my favourite tracks. Really worth a listen either MV or live it's all good.👍

And yes, the drummer is amazing. She has totally inspired me to pick up my sticks and actually start practicing again. I've always had double pedals (I got some Yamaha Flying Dragons years ago real cheap) but never really bothered with the left pedal. Most use of doubles just doesn't strike me as musically interesting. That is, until I heard Akane go at it. Just as Neal Peart and Ian Paice inspired me back in the 80s when I started playing, Akane is inspring me to play more and work at it.

usually people who react to band maid do not finish appreciating the work of Miku, especially on the guitar, I personally like very much to take my hearing aid from the right side to listen more to detail his guitar ... love, passion , enthusiasm and commitment that he has with the band is to applaud, I love watching her jumping, running and smiling on stage. Many thanks to Miku for creating Band Maid, little by little the world is being conquered.
sorry for my bad english (using google traductor)

Thanks for reacting, Onset (or Saikis pee break, or Miku's happy place if you see her playing this song in the smaller shows she justs love playing this) amazing piece of music. Next Song the first they wrote and had accepted by there label alone (released Febuary 14th warped sense of humour)

As you say their talent shines. I know I often bleat about post production but the sound engineer who mixed the two recent live DVD's has done an excellent job with the balance of the instruments. This track is a great demonstration of that. The ladies make playing a 'walk in the park' but it isn't. In the future you will have to watch some of the acoustic versions of their songs :-)

If you are a true BM fan then you know your brain is automatically overloaded during the song such that it is impossible to pay attention to just one instrument!! MISA and Kanami dominate many of the songs but here Miku and Akane got a few seconds to shine during the song. That was the longest drum solo that I have heard for Akane so far, she is amazing as she is content to sit in the background and drive the songs and lead the riffs and composition changes which are always going on with this band, yet never looking for the spotlight. She is the true ego-less musician here willing to make the band sound great and not worry about her own shine time!! This was the bathroom break song for the lead singer who let the instruments do all the singing during this song. Can you imagine how you brain is after 2 hours of this band's high energy, catchy and yet instrumentally complex songs pounding in your ears! Your reactions are still so refreshing even after many of their songs you continue to be amazed!!!

)@@chrisbergsten1429 I am sure you are right I just don't have that a discerning an ear to pick that up. I am used to the old fashion in your face types and since I compare this rhythm section to Cream (1966-68), Ginger Baker was never a drop back sort of guy. He fought with Jack Bruce the bassist over him having the amps too high and accused him of trying to drown him out. No matter, her talent is undeniable and she really is the one to keep everyone on point and drive the songs home.

Whats happening? The girls are having A BLAST playing music. You have to see them live whenever you get a chance cause you get a ton of precious moments in heir shows. like a little jam session intro to "Choose me" they had in the last year London show.
Or at one point 3 guitar players dropped to their knees lifting their instruments while playing. I Freaking HATE the fact I didn't manage to take a pic of that >_

Asterism! I upvote it too. Rising Moon is great, but it's MV. Just pause it every 2 minutes, and see if it works.
But they have a lot of truly wonderful life stuff. These are, basically, children, they formed as a band when they were 13 and 15:
      ASTERISM are
      Guitar : HAL-CA (Birth 2002/11/23)
      Bass : MIYU (Birth 2002/3/12)
      Drums : MIO (Birth 1999/11/14)
      Just look here: ua-cam.com/channels/hW49WDAfg2slMaak9Q0Ayw.htmlvideos?view=0&sort=da&flow=grid
I suggest you may start from this one: ua-cam.com/video/cEOz6GR5U4k/v-deo.html It's "Live Studio," and it's their original song, "155," not a cover. And it's really fucking great!

This is what I like to call musician music. Fantastic playing. Virtuoso style. But for me not enjoyable. It's like heavy metal opera. Opera singers are the best singers but opera music I don't enjoy.
