Thank you so much for an amazing video just was recently trying to design a phone case and wasn’t able to understand how to adjust the design file for different sizes and it gave answer to all my questions
Hi, I usually use the best seller phone case for the best quality for my customers but the shipping cost $23.33. Because of production and tax costs and also it’s the holidays. I’m struggling to find a good price for the phone cases so I can make a profit, but I don’t want it too high or too low. what would you prefer is a good price for the phone cases I should do and thank u very much for the video this was extremely helpful
One thing I just noticed is that WYOC is the best seller but has one of the worst ratings. 6.5 overall with a 7.5 in quality and 3.4 in production speed. Is there a reason why they have dropped so much?
great video, A year later, have your thoughts changed on anything re phone cases offered by Printify? Or anything else re selling cases in general (on Etsy)?
Quick Question - I created some floral phone cases. I’m new at this for sure. I was looking at the USPTO site in regards to trademark. It has IPhone listed and one of their products is phone covers. So, can I use Ipone with number after it in my tags. For example IPhone 12, 13, 14, etc. Thanks!
My flexi case print quality was not good the colours turned out extremely washed out unlike your example :( also the flexi case didnt feel so snug on my galaxy s22 ultra
So much information thank you!!! I only see 2 distributer options for cases in the US (spoke and another one). The cheapest option ships from the Netherlands. Should I list cases from different shippers to experiment with different prices, profit margins, shipping speeds, quality and get feedback from customers or just choose one, the highest rated/best seller but with smaller profit margins?
Hi! Depending on the style that you're looking to offer, I think they currently have SPOKE, Casetry and WOYC. WOYC shows as "worldwide" but they do have at least one fulfillment center in the US because that's who I use in my shop and the orders have shipped from a US location. I personally went with them for the consistent price for all sizes after I got some samples. I think SPOKE uses CaseMate brand cases rather than generic blanks but their pricing is different by phone model if I remember correctly. If you want to experiment, I would suggest getting a few samples rather than testing different ones out with customers' orders because you can compare the production & shipping time as well as the quality without creating an inconsistency for customers. I hope that helps!
Thank you do you have any update video for the pricing. Because now i am selling at lost. Etsy fees goes to 5usd, production and shipping become 15+5.49=20.49 so my cost is now 25.49 and the competitors are pricing 26usd. So either i need to change my print provider or i need to search another website better than printify
Very insightful, do you know by any chance how Etsy sellers that are selling WOYC products have listings for sale the offer both the snap and tough cases together in the same listing?
Hi! They are most likely adding the additional options by manually adding them into the listing. I have a couple videos about how to do this, here is one that should help: ua-cam.com/video/CL40UsLUFz8/v-deo.html
@@PODinsights thank you, I did this for a couple of listings but found it was taking too long, I have decided to upload the listings without SKUs and manually process orders. Once certain listings start getting sales and have proof of concept then I will automate them
I hope you reply a year later: WOYC cases are $3.88 more than those from Spoke Custom Products now. Spoke only has glossy iPhone cases whereas WOYC has matte and glossy PLUS other brands. Would you recommend Spoke over WOYC based on this?
Hi, Nice Video but how exactly is it with the search tags? Isn't iPhone protected? Or, on the other hand, is it allowed to offer designs specifically for brands like iPhone or Samsung on Etsy?
Great video!! Question, I see a lot of sellers that have phone case mockups that displays the hard exterior shell and TPU layer, but I can't find any mockups like that. I have looked on Etsy, Printify and Placeit but haven't had any luck. Do you know where that kind of mockup can be found?
Creative Market has some mockups that are the tough cases - they look really nice but most are a little expense in my opinion ($15-18 for a set). Probably would be worth it if you could find a coupon code. creativemarket.com/search?q=tough%20case%20mockup I use Vexels for graphics and they have mockups too - not many options for the tough cases but they have a couple that I have used. For mine I've mostly been deleting the background on the default mockups and placing them on different desk/table scenes using Canva. Hope that helps!
Hi! I have not, but I have sold the biodegradable cases from Printful in the past. The only reason I have not tried the ones from WOYC is because the only available base color is a light beige/tan color and I didn't think it matched well with several of my phone case designs. But in general I believe it's a nice product - the ones I sold from Printful before were pretty nice quality but I did have a couple customers (I think only 2 times out of 100ish sold) write to me after about a month to say it was falling apart, like one of the corners had chipped off. As long as the customer understands they don't last for several years (I think about 2yrs is the expectation), I think they're an interesting product that would work well if you want to have some eco-friendly products.
Shipping is now 5.49 for this case, and the cost 14.85. So you're looking at $20+ before even factoring in Etsy fees. For a total cost of 14.85+5.49 = 20.34. For a 16% margin you're looking at 27.99 price which is pretty high. This seems really high just starting out. As a newbie I'm not starting with a premium account.
Wondering if you think WOYC Tough Cases are still a good choice considering their price has gone up a bit and their rating has gone down quite a bit. Not sure if you're still responding to comments on this video but maybe someone can give me their opinion about this. Thanks for this video, by the way! Very informative!
I recently bought samples of the WOYC Tough and Snap cases because I saw that their rating was down to 7.9. The design was a pretty detailed one and they came out just fine. The tough case was a tiny bit grainy looking if you looked at up close but that disappears around a foot away. I'm pretty happy with the quality I got on both of them. I suspect that because WOYC prints on a lot of oddly shaped products (like air pod cases and watch bands) that those products perhaps brought down their quality rating while their phone cases are still decent.
I was wondering the same thing. Ordered a sample and it came in within 3 DAYS(did not expect it to come that fast, maybe it's just me) , I am in australia. and the print quality is good, although a tad bit darker than I thought. Maybe it was the Matte option with my choice of design.
i sell phone cases from prinfity. all my designs that are designed to be in the center were never printed in center. i had to give alot of refunds. NO 1 was printed in center
Please forgive the total rookie mistake of forgetting to turn my screen saver off! Unfortunately it kept making my camera adjust the exposure.
I'm looking at selling phone cases and this video was really well done & informative thank you!
Thank you! I'm so glad it was helpful!

Thanks Jeff! I think I might go with the impact resistant case which is similar to the tough case

how does this works out ?
Do I need to get Photoshop on my own or is it from the Etsy or printify site
So which POD companies can print cases for Google phones?

Hello, Jeff. Just a quick question: can I use "iPhone" in my title/tags? Is it safe?
yes
Sir plz make 1 video four Etsy sticker how listings
So can I make my own design and buy it for myself?
You absolutely can!
Shipping is now 5.49 for this case, and the cost 14.85. So you're looking at $20+ before even factoring in Etsy fees. For a total cost of 14.85+5.49 = 20.34. I am having this problem. The 20.34 USD I am paying to printify take away all the profits

Are you still having this issue with printify?
